Couldn't you have posted this to the other thread you already started about the exact same thing and that is only on the second page? Or better yet type it into notepad and save it to your desktop, then you could open it up and look at it whenever you wanted?

Here's a quarter...

Yeah. Double huh?!

Ignore that earlier post. I assume you sent a /petition in game? Did you also send them an email to their CS address (I have no idea what it is, but you should be able to find it on their web site, and maybe via /help in game).

They're probably just really busy. The servers have been having some problems recently, and it was a holiday weekend. In the grand scale of things, your accidentally deleted character will not become more deleted if it takes them longer to get to undeleting him. Other problems in game will get worse the longer they are left, so they require a bit more immediate response.

I'd just hang in there. Keep checking the status of your petition, and make sure you send email to their CS as well. They will eventually get to you.

If you're on the MM server there is a very good chance that the GMs are "up to their armpits in alligators." The enormous problems with the 1017 errors last night pretty much means there may be hundreds of petitions in queue (there were 10 chat rooms filled for 3 hours...ouch). I can really understand your anger and frustration at this moment, for my magician lost 3 very valuable items last night due to their system problems. The reality of the situation is SOE is in crisis mode, and responding to all of the petitions will take some time. The GMs and guides are highly outnumbered. All you can do is be patient and know that resurrections will be given priority status over other petitions.

Personally, I’ve opted to hold off playing EQ for another 1-2 weeks until their systems stabilize. This would also be a good time to work on repetitious activity that doesn't require zoning (i.e. tradeskills or increasing spell skills).

Try threatening to "hold your breath until [you] turn blue". It will probably be about as effecive as anything else.

Not saying I agree with how they run their company, but in a nutshell "welcome to customer service in the 21st century."
