Focus Effect questionFollow

What is a good flowing thought quest?
Does flowing thought stack?
Do other focus effects (like mana preservation) stack, and if so what are the "rules" that govern it?
I've had the game about 3 weeks and can't get a srtaight answer on the subject.

The most obvious and common "flowing thought quest" is the Coldain Prayer Shawl which is a series of progressively harder quests involving serious tradeskilling. If you have been playing 3 weeks you are unlikely to get one of these for a while but it is something you can start on as soon as you can kill Frost Giants (or earlier if you buy the parts). The 8th Shawl has FT3

Flowing Thought does stack up to 15.

Focus effects (which Flowing Thought isn't) are independent but do not stack. In other words you can have items with Extended Range, Mana Pres, Improved Damage and all 3 effects will operate together on the same spell. However if you have Mana Pres 1 and mana Pres 2 items then only the one needed for the spell will work. You do not get "Mana Pres 3".

The amount of mana saved is the same anyway it is just that level 1 works on spells 20 and below, 2 on spells 44 and below, 3 on 60 and below and 4 on the rest.

There is a list of Focus effects on the site but it is hidden under the heading "Focus Effects". It tells you about what they do.
