At 34 I started fighting the cave trash in Thurgadin. I've flown through to 37. Once I hit 39 and get my new pet (Mage) I'm planning to fight Yeti's in DL and start building some cash.

The common knowledge I think after HHK is to head to DL and group there.

Ive gotta ask.... how come you got to lvl 37 warrior, and yet seem to not really know some pretty basic stuff. don't mean to be rude. honestly. I'm curious. Its taken me months to get to lvl 16, and ive sorta subconciously ( i guess) absorbed things. Like...why dont people here like other people who "buy" Plat? I'd have thought it obvious....Its the same as cheating. Isn't it? Perhapps I'm wrong....

I don't mean to be rude. Honestly. But months to level 16? Even for a totally legit, untwinked toon, it shouldn't take more than a couple days to get to 16, a couple weeks at most if you are new and soloing.

Time to go to PC, find a group and start killing some Shiknars.

Splitpaw is an option, where I headed after HHK with my pally. You also have the corrupt guards quest from Capt on bridge to S Karn. Of course, that was pre LDON, so I would think LDON is your other option.

Unfortunaely I've got a full time job, a house in the woods, a wife, and a major addiction to surfing. EQ gets a few hours a week at most. When winter hits here in the downunder (aoteroa), maybe i'll get more time.....but then of course theres sno-boarding and the surf just gets bigger!

As a warrior healing is going to be a huge problem at this level, hence soloing will become more and more difficult. Your best bet is to level within zones that are typically "group" zones, or do LDON adventures as the main tank. Finding a really good family style guild that is into character development may help. It's always fun leveling with a regular group of guildies. Some fun zones at this level:
  • Great Divide - A good, solid group can easily wage war on the frost giants or attack the shardworms. This is a real popular zone as of late.
  • Tower of Frozen Shadow - This is a really well constructed undead dungeon in Velious. Grab some pallies and clerics and go to town. Loot is pretty good! If you liked Befallen you'll love this zone.
  • Echo Caverns - Both a group and solo zone. Sometimes it is pretty easy to find a small group or partner.
  • Gulf of Gunthank - Both clerics and pallies need to do several spell quests here and are always looking for help. Be warned that the LoY zones can be really tough and expect a corpse recovery.
  • The Dreadlands - Very popular after HHK. Never liked this zone very much, but still it is quite popular.
  • Mistmoore Castle - Known for trains....this is a great grouping area, particularly since many quests (and epic quests) need components here. Lots of people look for a little extra muscle.

I'm a big Luclin fan, so I'd have to say DSP (Dawnshroud Peaks).

Alla here has a GREAT feature which you can check zones based on levels. Plus, if you're looking for an XP bonus and/or want to see if a zone has an XP bonus, you can check out:

    http://www.rpgexpert.com/441.html

Dreadlands has some amazing XP, but I found it got slow at times, whereas I could level 30-50+ in DSP doing different camps and make some amazing plat off acrylia and pelts.

I'm also not one to 'push' my toons through the levels, as I tend to prefer to see and experience different zones. Another neat place is Sol A.

If you can put a group together, the cyclops' in Ocean of Tears offer some great xp and some ungodly loot (for your level). Plus with a good group, you can venture into Mistmoore Castle off of LFay. When I fought there, the xp and loot were great, but people constantly trained the zone, so you have always be ready for that.

Actually the last few times I've had to wander to Mistmoore Castle, it's been virtually deserted. I'm sure it varies by server.

I spent from my low 30s to my mid forties in Dawnshroud Peaks. Sadly, I didn't really know about the valuable loot (high end hopper hides) but I didn't care because the exp rolled in quite fast.
