I was in a group for well over 5 hours of straight killing and It said I was getting leadership exp but that thing isnt moving anywhere. Soe could speed this up a little come on. I got about 2 blues into leadership exp off total 9 hours of leading grps.
How many people were in your group? And were the mobs conning at least dark blue to the highest level character in the group?
I know those two factors are part of the "speed" but if you had 6 people killing whites/yellows/reds, then I agree SOE should speed things up :D

No, I disagree.
I think too much of the reward is given away too early. Often we hear how easy the game is with GY zones, GY areas, sense heading at 200, tradeskill interfaces, etc etc. On the one occasion where leadership point are slow to be achieved we hear cries of how it is too slow.
Leadership points should be earned over a long period of time to make them mean something. Otherwise we'd end up with 90% of the players having leadership points having only been leaders for a relatively short while.

This was discussed by the guild my main and a trio of top alts are in. If the Leadership Exp thing was as easy as the regular exp, not only would there be 9 out of every 10 characters with leadership points, but alot of people would be scrambling to lead groups without getting the full, "complete" group they need, especially for LDoN.
3 person group doing a normal LDoN adv at 51, I got 1/5 of a leadership point. Seemed kind of fast actually.
i went on a 50 person raid in PoF as a grp leader, we were ther maybe 2 hours and i got about 20% Lxp
