Having just reached level 15, I got my stone. Does it do me any good before reaching level 20? IIRC, you can only do LDoN adventures if you are at least 20. Are there other tasks you can do for the Brotherhood before 20?

While it is true that you don't have access to LDoN zones until you are level 20 and do not need the Stone for that purpose until that time comes, I believe you need the Adventurer's Stone to be translocated to the other Wayfarers Camp in Norrath, otherwise the Magus will refuse your request.

Thats right - the Adventure Stone allowes you to travel between the adventure camps. Hail one of the magus and he will offer you a trip.

When you get enough LDON adventure points look at purchasing a minor charm. The adventure stone is an augment, which like any other augment can be incorporated into another item. "Melding" it onto a charm is very handy, since you don't need to give up an inventory (or bag) slot lugging this stupid stone around. When to augment your adventure stone into your charm, you will always have the stone with you and receive the stat bonus during LDON adventures.

How many times have we heard OOC from someone that they can't TL from the magus, only to find out that they left their stone at the bank.

That is totally wrong, you do not need to have the adventure stone on you to be translocated by the magus. I have not carried my stone from the day I first got it. I'm not sure if maybe on your server you need to have the stone on you, but I highly doubt it.

We were doing a LDoD ad last night and one of the members didn't have the stone. He wasn't able to port from BB to SRO. We had to wait for him to get it then he was able to.

Now he didn't have the stone at all, so maybe you just have to have it in the bank to be able to port.

This could have been recently changed, but when LDON first came out you had to have the stone on you. Easy enough to confirm if this is still the case or not. Melding the stone as an augment does provide an easy way to 100% guarantee that you always have the stone on you without sacrificing a slot....the point to my original post.

Just saying for some, who like myslef, dont have an item they would like to stick it on, you can leave it in one of the bank slots.
