(Belkin Nostromo Speedpad N52) I was thinking about getting this but I'm not sure if it's compatible with EQ. So I was wondering if anybody else is using it, or if they know if it's compatible?
I use the Nostromo N50, the predecessor to the N52. It's absolutely amazing. It allows me to keep several key functions right where I need them -- under my fingertips. Playing EQ without it feels unnatural and uncomfortable now.
My only complaint is that it takes time to move your hands off the Nostromo and back to the keyboard for typing. This can range from a minor irritant to a deadly delay depending on what's happening in game. I'm considering reconfiguring EQ's hotkeys so that I can get the same effect by keeping a hand on the keyboard, but I fear that would ***** up normal typing.
