Help - my account won;t workFollow

I bought EQ:evolution second hand off a guy who tried it once and he decided he didn't like it so he sold it me.

I tried registering with station but it says account has been used.

How do I sort this?

if you have his user name and password, just use it, log in under account options and change the password and billing options. the station uses the same username/password as you use in game.

so if you logged into eq using the user name: JOESMITH and the password: password, you would use the same username/password: JOESMITH/password to log in on thestation. once you log in just go to account and change your info and password there as well.

you cannot use that copy unless he gives you the username and password for it tho, like has been stated above. go find him and shake him up for the info or shake the money out of his pockets.

i think any key within the evolution package can be used to unlock any of those expansions. I know my little brother was missing Luclin and PoP on his account so he bought Evolutions and used the keys in Evolutions to upgrade the Luclin and PoP expansions.

I'm pretty ignorant to the whole evolutions thingy and all. I've bought all of the expansions individually.

You could always get someone from the U.S. to purchase Evolutions and ship it to you. Might have to pay them up front, but if you could get a trusted name to do it for you you might be able to solve that problem.

I feel bad that you cannot get in, and it sucks about you not being able to get the Evolutions package...but...SOE had nothing to do with the fact that you did not realize that you could not re-use a key code to create a new account. A little bit of research or an e-mail to SOE about this would have made it clear. This is not unique to SOE...DOAC, Ultima, Ashrons all had the same kind of sign up, so you would be in the same place with just about any MMORPG.

As for SOE hating brits?? This is probably more of an import/export trade and tariff issue. I guarantee that SOE would sell this package anywhere that it would make them money. My guess is there are international trade laws that are making it prohibitive.
