A friend of mine told me that the amount of XP needed to get ANY AA's will go up after Feb 10th.. I hope this is not true and applies only to new AA's being released in the new expansion.. I am over half way to level 53rd with my 1st character.. I did not plan on getting any AA's ( except for the 3 run ones after level 55) until 60+.. It seems a bit unfair to lock the barn door after the horses are all ready out.. I am trying to catch up to friends to experience raids and all. ( please do not say buy a character on EBAY or something )..

I one know if my friend is correct???

From the Dev chat, they said that the reason for the greatly increased Gates AA cost was that it's much easier for characters to earn an AA now than it was back during Luclin and early PoP. From that, I would guess that the rate of gaining AA points won't change, but rather the new ones will just cost considerably more so the value of each AA is diminished when you're buying the new AA skills.

Don't take that as gospel, it's just how I read into it.
