XP after 50Follow

After dinging 51 with my pally I noticed a huge hurdle in how much XP is being generated per kill. It seemed like I had to kill twice as many mobs to generate the exact same amount of XP, as compared to lvl 49 or 50. The type of mob I was attacking really didn't seem to make very much difference.

After very successfully completing a LDON missing I only generated half a bubble of XP (the same situation as soloing). One of the more seasoned teammates stated that upon reach level 50 all XP is cut in half, unless you kill mobs that are at least level 50+. His statements pretty much coincide with the physical evidence I was seeing.

First of all is this statement true? Second, are there any fairly easy lvl 50 mobs that are not "uber god" status that can be fairly easily soloed?

no, not true. your xp will be basically in half anyway. 51 sucks. some levels will be much faster than others though. all 50+ levels will take a while to do

Yeah exp gain slows massively over 50. Wait until you get 55 plus. Then it is really slow.

thats because SoE left the hell levels in for 51+ game.

be glad you did not have to go though the old hell levels.

LoL 33rd used to be a 3X mod to level and also a 3X death penalty. same with 36, 39, and several other 'hell' levels that are now spread out 1-50 to make things a bit easier.

only took the coders 4 years to figure that one out.

would of been nice of them to clean it up 1-65 instead of stopping at 50, but i guess players cant have their cake and eat it too.

pre-50 hell levels were never as bad as 59

Gotta admit I was worried about 59... kept hearing how bad it was. Powered through it in 8 hours with my beastlord in a PoV kite group. Not too bad considering how long 58 took me :)

Right now at 59 i am going really fast. I am also in PoV that might be the reason why. Had an enchie dire charm one of the rock dudes and we plowed though Oc and Ic both so fast. We cleared them both and i started pulling the tree frogs. Then we went back to check to see if the pather (frist killed) had poped and still wthere was nothing. So i started pulling skellies and OMG i have never seen a pet do so much damage. It was awesome and i got like 2 yellows exp in like 1:30mins but then he had to leave... i cried. PoV is the place to go. Or get into a LDON group with higher level people than you.

I'm halfway through 59. It's going just as torturously slow as 58 did.

It seems that you really have to dig in and push for the tougher kills to get good exp. post 55 (possibly lower.) You can exp on the easy blues, but it'll take much longer to level.

51 to 54 where super slow on my old druid ..55 and 56 where not that bad ..my friend told me 58 was slow untill he got in POV then from 58 to 65 was easy ..specially after level 60 seems that 50 to 60 is where the exp goes slow , but is good really that way you have time to get AA points in to run mana regen and some other get some better equip work on epic if required ..and start teaming with the good guilds and learn to be on raids get flagged and stuff to much stuff to do in the 50's that by the time you are 61 you really know what to look foward at 65 where AA farming is all you do and more importantly learn to follow instructions from raid leaders.
