I have finnaly completed a spreadsheet with all the one handed weapons in it. It serves as a fast way to determine the best ratio when comparing weapons and other things. I know Allah's already does list weapons from worst to best ratio. However, this does more than that.
Being a spreadsheet:
- It will update all weapon damages that have recommended levels when the Level is changed.
- It will figure your bonus damage from the level.
- In addition to a Ratio column (Dmg / Dly) it includes:
-- Bonus Damage Ratio column = Ratio with bonus dmg included.
-- Bonus Damage & Extra Damage Ratio comlumn = Ratio with bonus dmg and any extras such as Banes, Fire, Cold, Magic.
- These columns also automaticaly update when the Level is changed.
- Most importnatly, use a sort feature to sort by one of special columns!
I did it because I felt it was really needed, at least for my use. It's great because it updates all those recommendeds quickly so you can view them without having to view a link in game or do the math yourself. Can stop viewing weapons one by one in bazaar to compare. Because you can put your level in, have all the updated damage stats figured in instantly. Can use your sort tool on the spreadsheet program to sort by the complete damage of the weapons, and know how a weapon will is now and will be.
Example: Put in Level 50 and quickly know a Lamentation > Shaded Blade. Yet put in Level 30 and Shaded Blade > Lamentation at that time.
Currently it does not include any stats the wepaons modify, Str, Agi, Dex, etc. It does not include Race or Class yet, I may add it later.
I really wish I could add Proc damage into the Extra Dmg figure. However; I know of no formula, nor found one online yet to figure the frequency of Proc. If someone has such, or where to find, I would be very greateful. With such I could do a Frequency% * Avg Proc Dmg to figure it in roughly the extra damage on average. Witch would be really cool.
I have greatly been looking forward to this since starting it few days ago. I hope everyone enjoys and gives me feedback!
Was done with Microsoft Works Spreadsheet. File type XLR, zipped.
