yup SoE is having problems and then trying to say everything is fixed when it is not. then they blame it on power outage, yet their servers still respond to pings so thats not it.
typical SoE lie about what ever the real problem is as the customer will never know and cant do anything about it but wait.

8.28 EST and still cant get the patcher to connect.
There are several other US sites that will not connect as well, so there may be a broader network issue.

Well all these conspiricy theories about Sony and IGE are highly entertaining and no doubt there is a bunch of ex KGB guys behind it all anyway.
But what I want to know is did someone blow up a backbone router somewhere or something? Cause there is something mighty strange going on with the internet at present.

could be part of the mydoom virus that is going around too.
i have not recieved any today, but yesterday i must of recieved close to 100 of that, and over the few days before that i was getting from 100-400 every few hours.
