This is quite a sad story. I've been playing eq for 5 years... since before kunark I've quit 4 times and lost my body countless times so I ask as a plea does anyone know some phat money gaining places for like 25 to 45 chars?

Take your level 45 toon and go to Crystal Caverns and kill geos. It is a hard camp to get so just ask to be put on a list and then take a different as all the mobs have good loot. CC is in Eastern Wastes, past the Great Divide. If you havent already, go to eq-toolbox.com and download your maps.
I've heard that Rathe Mountain is realy good, but it gives you a bigger headache than PC. You can try there if you dont mind getting Flamed.

If you are in your 40's Dulak Harbor is a great place for cash and exp. Most mobs drop several plat, and gem drops are not all that uncommon compared to other places I have been. The added benefit of this is you don't have to wait to make your cash in the bazaar.

If you don't mind loosing some faction, hhk guards are good, although it is better to be a wizzy or druid, so u can port to places where u can sell fine steel cause after u start killing those guards, u can't sell to vendors there. BTW has ne1 ever notice that vendors are stronger than guards? Hmm... y don't thay defend the city. Neways, my 36 mage has been farming them, i can take 2 at a time with focused earth pet and have about 1/2 to 1/3 manna left with 190 int. Although there is usually a chanter there to c1 u. They always drop a fine steel short sword, and the biggest plat drop i have got is about 5 silver o 9pp. Atb 45 u can prolly take 5 at a time with full manna and aego if have a big enough manna pool to kill them all at once. Also a ds helps alot. I have been thinking of using fire pet, but why fix something that is not broken. Just my 2cp worth. >:-)

Boring as hell, but farming tradeskill items like spider silks and pelts is always good money, assuming you're willing to set up a bazaar mule for a (potentially) long time.

Depends on where you hunt - one of the standard zones is north ro where there are plenty of spiderlings but their drop rate on silk is only 0-2 so it can happen that you get 0 silk out of 20 spiders.

Since silk has nothing to do with trivial loot code there is no server where the drop should depend upon your lvl.

From what I've seen, there are some luclin recipes that are the equivalent of Norrath recipes. I find shadeling silk much faster and easier to amass than spiderling silk. https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/searchdb.html?iname=shadeling+silk. Keep in mind, you can't combine Luclin silk with Norrathian pelts. Greyhoppers in Marus Seru drop lots and lots of hides, and you'll still get experience from killing them.

Check eqtraders.com for complete information.
