New Character, Old NameFollow

#1 Jan 26 2004 at 11:15 AM Rating: Decent
I have a 30ish Halfling Druid already replaced by a 46 Wood Elf Druid. (I have not played the Halfling in a year and a half, call me racist, but just don't like their looks). I love his name and wish to keep it to use on another character.

Is there an easy way to accomplish this? I have tried it once with a mid teen character, and as soon as I deleted them (even daily for a while) I was told the name was rejected.

Can anyone offer a suggestion on how I can keep a name for a new character?

My wife has deleted several characters and gotten same name for new character every time. She hasn't done so in about a year now, so they may have changed something. If it makes a difference, we play on the Rathe. Probably not helpful info - but maybe something to create more frustration. Maybe someone grabbed the name just as you were rerolling it. I really don't know how Sony's name censoring program works. Not suppose to have anything that resembles a real name - but I saw noobie with the name Annette last night - and not knowing any better (I'm old and out of touch) I gave my first character my real life last name (also have no imagination).
