What are the best hunting grounds for a 26 Beastlord? I have been looking for a great place to hunt ever since i have turned level 20 and have found really only the Paludal Caverns, where i can actually group with someone. I bought the EQ game to have fun adventuring, but to also join groups of ppl and have fun. I seem to be going to the same places and rarely if ever am i able to join a group.
Also how do the trade skills work.

in the mid 20s the regular routes are to go to Netherbian Lair, Echo Caverns or Marus Seru. Other old-school alternatives are South Karana, Stonebrunt or Lake of Ill Omen. Unrest is also good for that level. The trick is, if you need a group, find out where people on your server go that level. My personal favorites were Stonebrunt (ranger solo heaven for 20-30), LoIO (group for my cleric way back in 2001 and solo for my necromancer) and the Splitpaw Spires in South Karana, moving on to the Aviak birdhouse further south.

HHK is the natural place to go after PC. A lot of people there to group with and awesome XP. LDoN is a great alternative as well and will teach you a ton about grouping.
if im soloing i like to hit MS for 1 or 2 levels, but i prefer to get a strong group together and hit DSP near ME zone exit. that is a great place from 24-35 or so.
best xp though for those levels will be LDoN, sadly now that the rush of LDoN is over its hard to find a pick up group in that level to LDoN with. at least on my server and the times of day i play. heck even my cleric will/can sit LFG for well over an hour if im looking for LDoN. oh well no biggy.

OT is you are an evil race/class by the PoK stone is not bad xp either both solo and group. it can get you close to 30th.
if you are evil hit the sister island in OOT. both the dwarvs by the rock until 25th or so, then move over to the sisters in the hut. great xp and ok loot there, but only for evil class/race is this a good idea.
