Quests for 4 Level 50'sFollow

#1 Jan 21 2004 at 5:32 PM Rating: Good
Hi all.

My two toons are nearing 50, as well as my friends thatr have 2 toons who are closing in on 50. I was wondering what quests the 4 of us could do together that produces quality gear. I know I could just look up quests, but the required level and the level for which the quest is actually possible, quite often have a wide gap. Many of them say get a group of level 60's and proceed to... My ranger is by far the best equipped out of everybody, and I don't expect to be able to upgrade any of his stuff, but my Shaman could use some work, as well as my friends rogue and another shaman. So just to summarize that again our foursome consists of 2 Shaman, a Rogue and a Ranger. Lets assume we are all level 50.

Thanks in advance for anyone who answers.

Also, when should a person start to work on their Epics?

A great quest for your shaman to start on is their Coldain Shawls. It's easily startable at your 50's (probably can do through shawl 6, maybe 7). Involves plenty of tradeskilling so be ready for that.

Here's a link to step 1:

theres a quest for a coldain military wristguard in Great Divide that would be nice for the 2 shaman in your group. Not sure what faction you're on, but you do have to kill a dorf. Not that big of a faction hit though.

Check out the Shield of Bane Warding. A pretty in depth quest but may be able to be done by a group of 4. Never tried it myself but worth looking into. It would also provide a nice shield for a wisdom caster.

Both the Coldain Ring and Shawl quests are at least startable.

You can probly do up to the mid levels of the ring quest. You can forget about getting to 9th till you are all level 60+ and 10th till you are in a large guild. But the lower ones don't suck and it is a fun and indepth quest.

The Shawl quest is will take you all over Velious and by time you get to the 5-6-7 you should be of apprpriate level.

Ring goes to 10

7th ring You could feasibly get to with your group.

After that it gets harder for sub 60. But you will be in great shape if you ever decide to attempt the 10th ring war

Shawl goes to 8

Link to 6th that you can get to with current group

keep your eye on the prize Just so geo farming left and I will have this one.

A great site for trade skills is www.eqtraders.com

Here is thier web page that introduces you to the Shawl quest and the trade skills involved, and on the left side at the bottom is links to each of the 8 quests.

If you don't have yet, get everyone their Sebilis keys. Farming the spawn rotation in Traks Teeth for the keys can produce some interesting items; once you get into Sebilis you can start hunting for gear and make some nice cash.

With that group you could start all of the epics. My ranger did all the foraging and item hand-ins by the time he hit 50, and some of the earlier fights are one groupable.
