Foraging hot buttons and macrosFollow

As a tradeskill adict, I often spend time in various zones foraging. I have a social macro set up to forage 3 times per keystroke, and a timer to remind me to hit the button every 5 minutes while I watch TV or do whatever (like type this post, I'm in PoG as we speak hehehe). My question is this: Is there a command similar to the /doability command that will target Hot buttons? It would be nice to create a chain of hot buttons so that with one keystrike I can forage 6 times, or 9 times, or whatever. Reducing the number of times I gotta hit the button LOL Can anyone help me out with that?

1 word L-A-Z-Y! What has eq done to people?! Seriously! Not wanting to push a button as much!

I don't think it is the lazyness that drives us to make macros like this, it is more the fact that you don't want to pay attention to the game while you sit there and forage 200 times in a row.

*LOL* I don't even know how to pick up something from the ground without using the mouse....

PS: <sarcasm mode on> wouldn't it be even nicer to create a chain of hotbuttons that raises you a level, max your skills&abilities out and fills your pocket with plat over night while you enjoy your hard earned sleep?<sarcasm mode off>

There is no command in existence that will call another hotkey so you can chain them toghether. And I doubt there ever will be.

I just recently started playing and found on everquestdruids.com how to set up the macro and to link it to you up/down/left/or right buttons so you dont have to remember to hit it, it does it as needed when u are moving.
Hope this helps

just macro forage to your turn keys using the macro's option in setting. I think it is under keyboard settings. just macro it you left and right and every time you forage something press I on your key board and drop it in the middle. I make alot of money with forage now =P. and it is nessesarry for the the completion of the epic weapons

I have a forage hotbutton which I have linked to the left arrow key. Every time I turn left, I forage. Try that....works pretty well (I'm up to me ears in fruit).

Using macros is a bannable offence. Would hate to think anyone reading this forum thought it was an ok thing to do.

No, they're not talking about hacking the game Bluie. Open up your option window using Alt+o and you will find a macro section, I think it's under the keyboard tab. This allows you to set up the macros that they are talking about and is hardly a bannable offense. Using outside resorces and outside code to create other types of macros, however, is cheating, This is a bannable offense

Edit: What the op seems to be talking about is creating a forage bot, to my knowledge, not permitted.

Yeah, *foraging 3 times per keystroke* - that'll get you banned.

I'm not aware of anything that limits the number of times you can put /doability X on a hotkey other than the number of spaces provided on said hotkey. It is a social macro created within the game just the same as the /assist <MT name> hotkey that many people have. As far as I know, he has not described any bannable offense. The social macro feature had to be put into the game for a reason, right?
