I got my Adventuerer's Stone awhile ago, and forgot it was an augment, so for awhile it just sat in the bank collecting dust while i did a bunch of ldon missions. Then I found out it was an augment, and that it gains power whenever you talk to the npc's at the wayfarer camp. So I augmented it with a charm I got with some points, is it too late to have the augment gain more stats, and how exactly do i do this, just talk to vual stoutest first?
If you've been doing Mistmoore missions, then yes, you talk to Vual Stoutest. Each camp has a different person to talk to. You get new information every 2 adventures but I think you only get stats on your Adventurer's Stone (AS) every 10 adventures at each individual camp. It doesn't matter if you have your AS augmented the entire time or not, it just reads the flag of your completed adventures. So, for example, if you get a new charm and have to destroy the old AS, when you get a new one (by talking to Vual Stoutest again, for example) it will have the same stats.

I am going to be a little vague, (cause I don't know the specifics), but you will qualify for a power up on the adverture stone for every 10 wins you get from each camp (North Ro, Everfrost, Butcher Block, etc.) Then you go talk to someone in the camp you have the 10 wins in and he will tell you something to the effect that you have gain power.
It does not matter that you have not been doing it along the way. I think i first did it after 30 wins... and still got the powerups.
Don't expect huge power ups... they are only 1 up in 2 stats per lvl per zone. (that sounds confusing)... but I think i got my first power ups in BB. after all the power ups ... i think my stone gives me +3 hps and +3 mana. If I went to another zone and got 10 wins, i could get somethink like +1 str and something else per 10 wins.
(something in the back of my mind is telling me you may get the power ups every 5 wins... I don't remember totally, but concept is still the same. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.)
I think the max stats are +10 to all stats. That is quite a goal.

Thanks for the oinfo...not sure how many wins i have in MM, probably like 45. Less wins in takish, ruj, dguk. I talked to Vual, after several hails i got a message my stone glowed with power, then after some more hails was directed to talk to an npc in dagnor, did that, and he said i need to complete more advs to learn more.
Now I guess I go to the other camps i have completed adventures in and talk to the main people there?

Yep, mine has the amazingly high +1 HP / +1 Mana on it when I right-click on it. Although I remember it didn't show up right away for some weird reason. And once when I linked it to someone he couldn't click on it. But other than that it shows up fine.
Oh, and to add on to the final stats of the Stone, besides +10 to all stats you also get +100 HP and +100 Mana. But that's a LOT of adventures. It'll take a while.
