Can be done not worth the haste, just disband the guild and make a new one. if everyone feels the same as you then it will be easy if not...... well your on your own but at least you don't have to worry about being in a guild where you don't like the guildleader, and you know where you stand.

Your Guild should have a clear mechanism for dealing with this sort of thing. If it does, use it. If it doesn't, quit.

Begs the question why you're in a Guild where you're afraid to speak your mind. . .Smiley: twocents

Ok let me give a little more info.

I am currently in battle over leadership with co-leader. He is asking me to give him sole Leadership of the guild. I was appointed Leader by the Ex-Leader, due to my participation with all the members. I am very active with making sure that I Help all new members and exisiting members. I have never asked to become an officer and was appointed due to followng all the rules, and loyalty.

I had made a promise to the ex-leader to not give up my post. Well my co-leader and his friends are threating to contact the GM to remove me from my post. Can this be done. I am strong to make my guild grow.

That is why I ask if I can be removed from my postition for mo reason. Please let me know!!

Well if you were appointed by the ex-leader, And you were appointed before the other Co-Leader, Who gave him Co-Leadership? The Ex-Guild leader also? I say get the guild members together for an ingame conference, and vote on it.

There is only ONE guild leader, it is not a shared post. If you're the guild leader they're helpless to remove you from your post unless they get you banned.

They're bluffing. Call them on it. They can leave and form their own guild if that's what they want.

Actually you can have multiple guild leaders. Just need to talk to your friendly neighborhood GM to make an officer another guild leader. Then you have 2.

It is perfectly possible to have dual leadership. Whoever said it wasn't, Was Wrong. :)

my question is will gm's get invloved with personal guild disputes? I mean, there's a lot a guilds on every server, if that was the case, I would think that's all the gm's would have time for - sorting out guild BS. Maybe that's why my petition take 4 ******* hours lol.

/guildremove is your friend
tell the other officers what you're going to do , then boot the 'co-leader' , then explain to the rest of the members why you did it . if any of the co-leaders friends make a fuss , talk to them and let them know they're next if they cant deal with it.

this is assuming that you can boot him , if a gm has created 2 leaders it might take a gm to get rid of him .

your guild has a much better chance of surviving the pruning of a few disruptive members than it does of surviving fights among a divided leadership
