I Thought this might be a fun thread.

You know you have all done it. Who was the Mob that killed you over and over again. Killed you so much that you really hated him, but could never get the best of. Until half a year and 20 levels later, you venture back and whack him just for revenge.

My low level nemeses was Kizdean Gix in West Commons. That dude killed my at least 10 times as I was hunting for bear skins. I went back that when I was lvl 35 and Doted and Rooted, and killed that SOB, and loved every minute of it.

Tell you story, who was your low level niemeses that you extracted revenge upon.

Lol, back in 1999 when I started this silly little game there was this bad Mo Fo in Q hills named Tovax Vmar that killed me on a regular basis.

I finally got my revenge on him running through there on my way to JPF when I was like level 45. Wasn’t playing my original character but it felt good none the less. Smiley: grin

I haven't managed to do it yet, but Tani N'Mar will see me again one day.

I will bring some friends and rape that Neriak Rogue guild. I swear.

I haven't played my ranger for months, but when he was young, that little bastage DaVinn, killed him many times.

When I didn't have anything better to do, I would head over to Gfay and buff low-level peeps, and every once in a while, I would zone into CB just to kill that little dink.

One of the first times I was in the throne room in Crushbone, I was running out when this dark elf smacked me out of nowhere. I later learned his name : D'Vinn. He managed to get the best of me several times as I grew up, but I had my revenge. One slow night while I was in my 30's, when there was (oddly enough) no one else in Crushbone, I ran through the zone and slaughtered every orc in the zone, then went up the tower to slay D'Vinn. I felt so much better after that. =D

Martar Icebear. He looked just like another NPC in leather, and since that was the clothing of the day for all barb's in newbie land, I thought I'd run up, say Hi, and figure out how to pull the area without steppin on his toes or anything. Martar took exception to that idea. I haven't seen him for a long long long time.

I'm still waiting for this sweet day to come. Ahhh how I remember the day well. My paladin just 'dinged' level 39 in Highpass Keep, and I was on my merry way to Riverdale to pick up my new set of spells. It was a bright sunny day, and I didn't think I would have any problems running through Kithicor (since it was already noon). I had just zoned and I didn't take (literally) more than two steps before I saw him.....General V'Ghera.

WHACK!!!! In exactly three seconds I was dead and didn't have any time to even understand what was going on. What he was doing at the zone enterance at high noon was beyond me.

Someday General...you're MINE!

Dorn in North Ro. At level 65, I *still* go out of my way to kill him when I'm in the neighborhood. Same thing goes for Dragoon Zytl or whatever his name is in WC.

Decaying Skellies... j/k.
Yeah, whenever I'm in North Ro, I make a little trip to smack down Dorn, that little punk. There's something very satisfying watching an ice comet drop on his head, after all the times he did me in.
And while not nameds, I still get a great kick out of dropping sand giants, especially in the Oasis. I mean, how many times was I sitting on that dock minding my own business, and... LOADING, PLEASE WAIT... yeah, a little sweet revenge there.

Dorn and Gix for me as well.

Also whenever I'm in NK I charm GrimFeather and make him dance for me just to humiliate him. (For those who don't know, /pet sit down on charmed griffawns makes them dance the Macarena.)

Finally, I did wipe out the entire DE camp in LFay once, just to let them know I hadn't forgotten them.

That's a real good question, heh heh heh.
When I was a youngster, I think about 11 or 12th season, the bugs and such were turning green in Feydark. I made some cautious probes into Butcherblock and discovered The Chessboard! Oh Man!
It was filled with Skellies that conned Dark Blue with an occaisional Red King! I would calm all but one, then snare and DoT him. It was always camped so I would go there late at night. The exp and loot was fantastic. It was there I took out my first Red Con, The King!
Problem was, between there and the zoneline was a group of TOUGH brutes,THE YOUNGBLOOD CLAN. I would be sitting at the chessboard,
almost out of mana and health, waiting for the King to succumb and dreaming of that "Ding", When.... WHAM!! I'd be ambushed by a Youngblood and die before I even realized what had happened.
They terrified me!I began to save just enough mana to snare him if he attacked and run to the zone and... Wham!! His angry cousin, coming to his aid, would clobber me and down I'd go.
I decided I would take them on. LOL! How naive I was. It was then I learned about Aggro, broken Snares, and pulling TRAINS to the Zone!
But, when I finally killed one, he dropped a Medalion that fetched 1 WHOLE PLATINUM! WOW!
After a few levels I could take one on and kill it but had to remain vigilant for his allies and keep close to the zone for safety's sake. And I would stand over his corpse and GLOAT! ME, a real human being, venting all my hate and frustration at a TOON! God, it was great.
I made me a hot button and, whenever I took a Youngblood down, I would /shout "/roars DIE YOU YOUNGBLOOD! I HATE ALL OF YOU ROTTEN STINKING YOUNGBLOODS!" ROFLOL
I still occasionally go back and kill one, just for the fun of it. last night on Luclin I ran across one of their Medallions on an NPC merchant and felt like a GAR Veteran at a Civil War Museum. I hope whoever turned it in got as much satisfaction from his conquest as I did.

Choon and froon. I regularily make field trips to WK just to gank them. And Tovax! I'm still waiting to get revenge on Varsoon the undying, but he hardly ever spawns anymore.

I would have to say Rungulp from Toxxulia Forest, Spectres in Oasis and Sergeant Slate in East Commonlands.

Rungulp would always blind me and just rape my lowbie caster *** :(
Spectres would be released and just make the whole zone have to depart. As soon as you saw those scythes running around..you know it was time to run.
Sergeant Slate has stolen my kills so many times, I swore I would steal them all back from him.

This is a toss up. Mooto, that ratty little goblin wizard from Misty Thicket has been the bane of all my halfling characters, and I make it a point to track him everytime my druid is in that area. The other pain is...Holly Windstalker. That wench has killed more of my characters than I can count, most of them several times. "Please, Holly, no! The rabid grizzly attacked ME!!!" Now that I think about it, I haven't made an effort to hunt her down yet. I think I have new plans for this evening. =P

jophiel, i remember reading that a long time ago when you first posted it I think....still funny as hell.

But to the topic at hand.....Martar Icbear. As a young shammy growing up in EF, this guy was always a pain in the *** if he happened to spawn. Definitely went back and smoked his *** when I was higher.

My new target (although I'd doubt I'd ever attempt to attack him) is that damn ugly *** otter or badger or whatever the hell he is in PoK, Mystic Abomin. He's the guy shaman turn the parchments into to get your 61+ spells. I get so excited to get a spec or something.....take the trip to turn it in...only to get another freaking root....lol.

EDIT: Out of curiousity, has anyone ever tried attacking one of these guys. There is a room full of NPC's for turnins, don't know how social they are. He con's dark blue, but lord knows how many hp's he has, probably a *********

Sadly, there is no combat in PoK, Nexus or the Bazaar. You can stand in front of him for hours with auto attack a-blazin' and nothing will happen.

Edit: No combat in Plane of Tranquility either, before someone decides to correct me

Haha, I guess im not the only one that got pwned by Dvinn on a regular basis. That damn darky could backstab you even if he was right in front of you. Keeled me many a time, but now I like to go back to CB and beat the **** out of him. Make you feel all warm and fuzzy in the cockles.

Here's an example of sweet revenge biting you in the ***-

Back in the old school days many of us made the trip to Runnyeye Citadel for a shot at the Blackened Iron ******* sword. Well, a little more than a year ago, when I hit 55 I decided one day as I was passing thru I would get revenge on the Goblin king *insert dumb move here* Lil' old me didn't know they revamped the entire zone, and proceeded to get my A$$ handed to me (were it not for having a fresh SoW, I may still be looking for my corpse in Runnyeye) Damn greenies took me to 13 hp's by the time I zoned- SNARF!

Martar Icebear in Everfrost gets my vote , He killed me more times than I like to mention when I was hunting mammoths. Whenever I see him now , I just log my druid on and kill him (druid is only 43 so gets xp as well :P)

D'Vinn. I think anyone that leveled in crushbone knows what I am talking about. I love to run in there now and with a single swipe of my nature walkers scimitar, lop off his blue head.

I remember getting smacked around by the griffs in EK and NK. Used to avoid them like the plague. Now when I go to EK and farm silks, I like to charm, shrink and release every griff I come across. I always get a laugh from my mini-griff aviary.
