I got a lvl 33 cleric with 150 wis (that is prob really bad lol) and I have 1k to spend on armor I just want to know should I buy a lot of pieces of armor that is a little better for each slot or buy 1 or 2 really good pieces of armor?

1 more thing what should i try and get in the armor? Just alot of wisdom or a lot of different things?

Good question. I think the question is totally dependant on when you are going to have more money for upgrades and how much you will spend at that time. If you are upgrading now and not upgrading again until you are level 50 then I would buy a bunch of inexpensive upgrade pieces. You will end up getting more raw stats this way. I try to get all my armor to a decent level (like Spider Fur stuff as a min) then start looking for 1-5k per item stuff. If I were you I would camp the bazaar, search for really good deals and resell at a low price. You can make a lot of money in the bazaar for a small amount of time spent. ps 150 wis isn't that bad. MY level 45 Shaman only has 175... but has many + mana items.

Hi there Reinman. I was wondering how you made your money. I mean you have really nice armor and weapons for your lvl. Please enlighten me.

1. Farming Silks/skins/Hill Giants.
2. Reselling in the Bazaar

I made alot more money reselling in the bazaar than I did farming. Only problem is that it takes money to make money. If you want to know my method it goes like this farm about 2kpp at least start looking for good deals on cheap(100pp) armor buy for 50pp try to sell for 200pp. And so on and so forth eventually you will have like 10,000pp then you can start getting into the mid range stuff like 500-5000pp per piece. It take research and a good feel for what things are going for at a particular time. I like semi-rare items, stuff that is not available in the bazaar all the time. Buy it then you will be the only person reselling so the people buying have no cost comparison. Thats it, its that easy. The more money you make the more money you can invest and the more profit you will get back... it is exponential.

Reinman, that is a very good idea. I appreciate the advice very much. I have some questions and they are what kind of silks and skins and where do u farm them? do you turn them into something or sell them as is? another thing is i only have 1 computer and 1 account and cant just put the stuff im selling on another toon. Does that make it alot harder for me? Or when i am going to log off should i go into trader mode and leave on for all night, but if i get disconnected all the stuff in the satchels will dissapear or should i just ooc "WTS Crystalline Robes" as an example.

I only have one account too (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that shared bank space) [], so I made a mule and he has 14 sales bags, Leaving two slots in case needed to buy a bag and pass on to another toon. Make sure to get a bind in bazaar cause at level one you could fall off the balcony, die, and get resurected in hometown weighing 500 pounds. Smiley: cry Mule is on when computer is running and I am experiencing real life (lucky to have cable where more than one person in house can be logged on),

I put all the extra points in charisma, and I got him 2 charisma steins too, so he can shop merchants in center. Amazing what people sell to vendors there. And some people are selling things in bazaar LESS than vendor will pay you, so I am happy to buy these items up and sell to a vendor. I keep all plat in shared bank accts, so all toons can access.

Mule does all buying and selling for all toons, with the help of my Allakhazm's character print-outs, so I don't have to zone my other toons to bazaar anymore ever.

I would need to know your level and class before I could recomend hunting places. Anayway any pelt skin with "quality" in the name. All spider/spiderling silks, East Karana and the Crag spiders, is one of the best places for spider silks. I sell them as is. As Kelti says, by use of the shared bank slot you can transfer item to you mule with very little effort and no danger. I put 2 of these in the shared bank slot. SO then you have have 20 Giant spaces shared. Thats about it good luck. Oh yea I just got a new sword. hehhehehehe Oh yea baby....

Thanks guys, Ok im kind of new to the game... so correct if im wrong which i probably am. The shared bank space means that say for example on your main u could put spider silk in shared bank and then log out and log back in with a alt and access what is in the bank? If so that is AWSOME!! self transfers are you kidding me? hmmm... I must be wrong. please verify.

Btw, my cleric at 34 has 151 wisdom and usually gets the job done. I dont own a lot of manna items either, but i do have a cougar claw earring, and an item or two that reduces manna and increases the number of hit points healed.

Wisdom is very important, and should be your primary stat goal, at your level. If I were where you are now, I'd pick 200wis for my goal, as the mana gained for wis over 200 is only half what it is sub 200.

Having said that, I personally rate stats as my second most important thing, behind effects. given the choice between an item with 3 more wis, and one with mana preservation 2, go with the mana preservation item, it will do more to help you. In general, I rank order what I look for as follows:

1) Useful effects (improved healing, yes. Summoning efficiency, no)
2) Wis up to 200 (past 200 both wis and mana items)
3) Hit Points/Stamina (you'll get aggro, more HP increase your chance of surviving, sta=hp).
4) AC (same as HP, but less chance it will save you)
5) saves versus magic, etc. Only useful against casters, and mobs with magic attacks, but those will become more common as you level. By level 55, I'd move saves up to level 3 on the list.
6) Agi (becomes ac, but only a small amount)
7) other useful stats, like str, dex, cha. Useful for carrying stuff (str), and also for meleeing once you get your summoned hammer at level 56 (str, dex), and buying and selling (cha).

For upgrades at your level, and budget, I'd look into the sandblasted armor. Perhaps player made rings and earrings (velium jasper rings, golden jasper earrings). Sebilite scale tunic or leggings if they are cheap. Also, bracers of the reverent are nice as are gauntlets of the black. While they may be out of your range, coldain skin boots, and golden efreeti boots are nice choices for the high wis.
