Once the center of the kingdom of Lordaeron, the serene Tirisfal Glades have taken an eerie turn under their new controllers. The Forsaken call this place home now, along with the crypts beneath the capitol. Lady Sylvanas Windrunner has charged some of the Forsaken with trying to reawaken some of the undead in the hopes they will have something resembling mental faculties and not just mindless Scourge. Most of these efforts are currently taking place in the small village of Deathknell.

Tirisfal is certainly a creepy place now. Even more so, with remnants of the Scourge in the area, and undead gnolls and murlocs creeping in from the northeast. The creepiest group, however, is the Scarlet Crusade, a bunch of religious zealots who fixated upon the holy Jihad of mindlessly exterminating all undead. The Forsaken have a leg up on the crusaders since they can still think for themselves, and have begun doing some experimentation of the plague that created them in Brill, hoping to use it against the scarlets attacking out of their monastery base in the northeast.
