Objectives

Give Marshal Maxwell the bad news.

Description

Bolvar is a fool. I was gathering his precious 'proof' so that I could shove it down his throat.

He is a blind buffoon. Proof stands two feet away from him and he does not see.

As for my data, it's lost. Gone. Unrecoverable.

Should I ever find Ironfoe and make it out of this labyrinth, my first stop will be Stormwind, to place my hammer in between that reptile's eyes.

Again, take a full group of five. The more level 60's you have the easier this will be. Once you talk to Marshal Windsor, he tells you to leave him and talk to Marshal Maxwell again. So it's back to the Burning Steppes for you.

Killed a non-elite slaver outside instance and got note. the q you need to do before is "Abandoned Hope" that you get from Marshal Windsor. The chain starts with Dragonkin Menace.

kiled bout 20-30 elites outside BRD, then my vry 1st kill in BRD i go the note, so i think its definitly in the instance

i talked to marshal windsor in his cell, then recieved the quest abandoned hope, no note ever dropped during the run, and now the quest disappeared from my quest log. does anyone know why?

Because the note won't drop until you've finished the quest. Go do a BRD run and the note should drop.

I killed the two darkiron dwarves just inside the instace to farm the note. I think I did it about five times, resetting the instance after each time I killed the pair. The note finally dropped. That is the easiest way to solo it, although someone said youc could farm the slaves outside the instance. I decided to go in to make sure I didn't waste my effort.

Of course, if you go with a group to do BRD, you should get the note fast and be able to do the rest of the quest. I did it solo because my guild was busy and I wanted to get it done.

Talking to Windsor doesn't require a five-man. I did it in a raid, and it worked fine.

To continue to next part you need to go back to brd and kill some mobs to get the note
