I was looking for Shadowmaw Panthers and suddenly I saw on my map the name 'King Bangalash'.
I had to take a look and I'm gonna tame him when I'm lv 43!
He's really cool! (My opinion;))

I was trying to tame this dude last night... just because... I have only just found oout about him, I mean my pet I have levelled from 8 to 45 so I kinda didnt want to stable him but fancied a change...

I kept getting him almost tamed last night and bloomin horde kept killing him... not tonight tho... tonight he is mine... mwahahaha

I spent all night and most of the early morning leveling to 43, then put my Snarler into the stables and grabbed a gorilla as a temp pet on my way to King B's spawning area. When I got there, I looked around and killed a few tigresses, but he was no where to be found.

Finally I spotted him! I abandoned my gorilla and started to tame... but a blood elf came and killed him before I could really even start taming. So I grabbed a tigress as another temp and hunted around some more; he's on like a five minute respawn timer so I wasn't worried about being kept that long.

After a bit, I went on top of this one hill and there he was! I remembered hearing that he had two panther guards but I didn't see them anywhere... so I abandoned my tigress and started taming. He hit me a bunch of times... if the taming had lasted one moment longer I would have died before it was done. But I did get him. This was at about 2:30 am server time (Moon Guard).

Of course, then I was standing there, feeding him and telling my friend about him, and he respawned again WITH his two panther guards so I made a run for it. I think he respawns right on top of that hill. Kind of in the middle of the area, it's like a big plateau.

He's really pretty and it's kinda cool because it's like having a frostsaber early! The only thing I was unhappy with was how much he shrunk. When the next King B attacked me, he was MASSIVE, and it made mine look a little pathetic. Oh well. He's still pretty, and he's only a stand-in until I can tame Rak'Shiri. ^^

For all those people who want Cobra reflexes, it's even better, he STARTS with Cobra reflexes!

Maybe it's b/c I'm level 45, but he was so easy to tame.

I killed 2 panthers that were kind of near him and then i set a trap, concussive shot King B, started to tame, and he never hit me once.

So much easier than Sin Dall imo.

Easy solo with lvl 43 wlock. Killed everything around him, sent my voidwalker to him, threw all the DoT's I had, DoTs, fear, DoTs, fear.

When he called for help, only one panther came, so it was a piece of cake. Looted Chromite Girdle which I disenchanted. Got Small Radiant Shard from it, so it was worth of it. ;)

Bold Textis KING B really tameable at lvl 39? it says lvl 39-42. but is it? thats an aweosme twink pet then. iw ant him at lvl 39

hes a bad pet, me no licky. Now warp stalkers are real pets ^_^

No, he's not nerfed. Only because the other pets are buffed since they also can learn cobra reflexes, doesnt mean this one are nerfed.

I tamed him, and it's such a mainstream pet - everyone has it, either this one or one from winterspring. I picked him. Quite hard to tame, since he has 3 panter guards. Didnt think of that, however, so i didnt bother to kill the panters before i started taming.
Also, i'm blood elf, and i'm rly agility and so on, so i dont have HP. This means, i'm fragile.

HOW TO TAME: Without pet, i succeeded taming him, by waiting until he was in the front, put a trap in front of me quickly, so that (he was in front) he'd come to it first. Then i started taming, and got him and the 3 panters on me. I made it in time, with 400 hp left, and he was mine. I poted, to defeat these panters which were only in level 30, although they dealed a nice dmg together (Also, my trap was 15 sec at that time, so Bangalash could hit some too)
but i got an add around there, tryed to run making my new pet aggro them, but got another add, and died. It was worth it, though, now i have the mainstream pet, hoorah :P

guess wat guys black temple is up and that means you can train your pet cobra reflexes!yay!

If you never untrain him, how will you be able to train him later for greater stamina or natural armor? Like right now my cat has rank 7 on both of those, but I just learned rank 8. And my cat is sitting on 8 training points, and I don't think he'll get the 225 points I need to train both of those unless I untrain him.

Am I possibly the only one who realized that King B is the White Tiger that saved Nesingwary &Co in The Green Hills of Stranglethorn?

I tamed him today. I like King B a lot more than Humar.

I especially enjoy his passive skill Cobra reflexes. Increases his attack speed by 30% but the attack is reduced :/

oh well, its still good. You cant teach it to any other cat though, and dont untrain him or he will lose it. It also comes with Dash rank 2 and Claw rank 6.

Tamed him today, only to find out what the skill was that Beast lore showed he had, it's called "Cobra Reflexes" and it gives him 30% increased attackspeed, and a damage reduction effect. Thought I'd spread the info, enjoy :)

Freakin hunters, I swear.. could at least ONE of you post coords, or Sylvanas forbid - a fight strat instead of going on & on about pet stats & abilities?! Nobody cares - except OTHER noob hunters who foul up my groups with their sucky cat pets. In fact, every one of you boobs who think this is a valid discussion, do the rest of us a favor & go shoot yourself in a vital organ. There's too bleeping many of you anyway.

Do not unlearn skills once you tame King Bangalash. If you do you'll be sad like me when you realize that Cobra Reflexes is gone. This one skills adds quite a bit of dps on ol' King Bangy.

It says up top that his spawning lvl range is 38-46, is it possible to find him at 38??? Has anyone ever seen him at 38??

he is just walking around at 38.36
and his spawn time is like 5 minutes or so...

i think u can also.. just set a freeze trap and then tame him..

SOLOD as a 41 hunter babie

To tame him the easiest you'll need a friend at the same level as you with you, preferably someone that can tank for you. You take out the stealthing panthers first, you pull each one seperately and both of you kill them one at a time. Then, you run up and dropa freez trap on King Bangalash and start taming him while your friend hacks at the two bodyguards. If you do it right, you will get King down to 3/4 of the way tamed before the freeze trap expires, and then tame him the rest of the way. Your friend should still be in a fight with the bodyguards, and when Bangalash becomes tame he'll then attack his own bodyguards, helping to finish them off.

Bangalash is a great all-around cat, he has speed that is a bit faster than others at 1.4. Though not quite as fast as the fastest cats, he does tend to do slightly more damage with each hit which is really nice when he gets a crit. People wonder why so many hunters pick him, and there are various reasons, but one of the reasons is he looks damn cool with a mount that matches him and a silver tabby non-combat pet trailing along, lol. So, if you don't want to have to go to the stables and switch out your cat every time you want to do something different, or just have different types of pets in your stables besides just cats, I would say he is one of the better choices for a feline pet.

Soloed him as 41 Troll Hunter with 3 panther links. Feign Death FTW. I did lose my pet though. He was 43 elite, no decent drops.
