ppl...what is the point of killing the bosses?

there's no quest on it, you don't get honor or anything from the guards,
and they don't drop loot worth having.

i guess you just get so bored once reaching lvl 70, nothing to do anymore save dueling, ganking lowbies, and bragging about the multi man raids.

just leave Thrall and any of the other bosses on either side alone,
they are much cooler than all of you anyway :P

First of all look at the out lay of the citys all the horde citys have entrances near the leader with very little gaurds and the alliance towns? no they dont have that.... so i wonder why horde has a tougher time getting to leader?? but atleast in the expansion they made the blood elf town similar to alliance built towns only one real entrance... but who the heck is ever gonna raid that place? I mean really... besides that because of the fact that theres only one real entrance to the dwarfen city it gets mecha lag and horde coulkd make it though but every time they do more or less the server crashes... its rediculous really I think blizzard did this on purpose making the horde towns have these (special extra entrances)... and before you go on about how im wrong starta horde character and examine the entrances to ogrimmar and Under city theres two entrances in each and one of them in each is right near the leader and has almost no gaurds... its sad....

Thrall would be a shammy I'm guessing...but wut spec would he be? Enhance or elemental?

Guards and other PvP mobs don't really drop anything. You don't even get experience for them.

Allow me to put your assumptions to a rest, a 70 rogue sneaked into Ogrimmar and tried to solo thrall, he was 1-shot by the boss. This is with outland gear, now if you take into consideration about 5-6k hp for a rogue give or take, and he was 1-shot, avg war has what 20k hp or something? It would take 40+ people with good healers to take him out, in the middle of a Horde city. They have also been tweeked btw since the expansion. His chainligtning usually downs quite a few people, and he casts it multiple times. Do the math.

ok, true everyone brags about beating Thrall and all, but come on people! you only attack at night when no ones there to defend him! allience are sissies cuz of tht. i mean, even the horde on my server(including me) have more honor than tht, cuz we mainly attack during the day when lots are playing, and we're STILL succesfull! so shut up bout beating Thrall unless it was with only 15 or less people in broad daylight!

when I started playing wow you could see his lvl. Thrall was 63 elite, Vol'jin was 65 elite

Of course Alliance could kill Thrall, but only if it's on Christmas night in the dead of night when no one's online to defend Thrall, as had happened on our server. I do suppose they were smart in bringing in a warlock and two rogues to summon everyone in, but all the dishonor kills probably would've not made it worth it.

Yeah, Thrall got owned on our server, along with the entire of us hordies :(

3 AM, saturday night (I think). SotG pulled a great feign and lured entire Orgrimmar (including me ;_;).

i killed Thrall without problems.....i am lvl 58 Mage ( Human ) i got 3600xp

You fools do you know how many horde players protect Thrall.

The Superstars on Gorefiend killed him. Got around 14 silver for the drop. He's really not a tough kill, its the 20+ horde that pour in half way through it.

The tougher kills are the undead bosses. Lady Slyvanas has this 1500+ damage multishot and she blinks out of combat.

Hes definately killable, and hes not lvl 500. Blizzard gave out the official lvl to Bradygames who did the guide. Thrall is lvl 63 i believe (too lazy to check) the highest lvl towen leader would be magni bronzebeard at lvl 90 elite. Then there Varimathras in the UC lvl 100 normal.

Yes, however, when you think about it it's damn near impossible to get to them let alone kill them. Imagine a raid group in Orgrimmar, where at least 20-30 60lvl players are at all times on my server (Stormreaver). They are skull lvl bosses even to friendlies. Rumored to be in the mid 70s elite they will most likely never be killed. It is my theory, however, that these must be the guys who carry red (legendary) or orange (artifact) weapons and armour. That's what I would like to think anyway. But who knows...
