Bugger! Just found out that I went to the wrong place to farm Turtle Scales! I should have gone to Tanaris, and NOT Dustwallow Marsh! Farming in Tanaris would have been so much easier!

I squirm when I think about all the time I've wasted in DW... Learn from my mistake!

Unless you farm creatures for money it is very hard to have enough for your mount by the time you are the right level. My level 39 has 20 gold, and the only stuff I ever buy are leatherworking supplies, cooking supplies, and patterns/recipies. I save everything else and that's what I have. Try not being so snippy with people, ok? Some of us would rather enjoy questing and such rather than focusing on getting rich.

There is more than one way to make money, but they all take time and effort.
Doesn't have to preclude questing, however I've also learned that not all quests are worth doing...

Yes, you ARE going to have to do somethinh extra to be able to afford your mount. Or, learn to live without it.

Being 'rich' certainly has it's advantages, but takes so much time, that you're better off leveling thus make more cash, and/or just get great gear.

Of course, not all of us can play the game the same way. ;-) For example, I'm rogue, miner. Made a fortune on basic metals (and some AH manipulation) when BC came on-line.

I also do far too many quests.

However, much of that time isn't suitable for adventuring, so I chose a profession that wasn't listed. Auctioneer. On the bright side, I could afford full eng., potions and 1/2 decent gear and the only problem with getting my mount was timing. (I over invested.)

Granted, being 'snippy' about being poor isn't warrented, but neither is being 'snippy' about being 'rich'. We each play the game as we can. Entire aspect can be ignored, or enhanced (more or less). Each with it's own peculiar drawback.

Some of us would rather enjoy as much of the game as we can, in the way that we can. Safe to say, *all* of us would prefer not being denigrated for the path that works for us, eh?
