Bugged npc

Have been through similiar once. I got the message "Out of range" instead though. I tried over and over again to buy from him but to no avail. I gave up and started running away from him and I suddenly hear the sound for paying for something. I look in my inventory and find the recipe I had tried buying.

Buggy npc? Not much. -.-''
(Btw, it might be b/c of people (not) killing him. =/ )

You've run into the Phantom Menace bug, which has your client thinking that the mob is in one place when he's actually in another. It plays merrie-hob with attempts to loot and skin, and as you found, buy. If it happens, just log out and log back in.

I started at Unfriendly. Grinded to exalted. 2 months. Rewards: Epic trinket =) Thrall scream my name in orgrimmar, some Rewards to buy from Meilosh. This isnt much if you ask me. Then i rather go in av for 1 month and get 3 epics. However, the GRINDING is also a "reward". took me 1 month to get exalted in av, i got 3 new epics but i had to pay 500 g. Here, i got exalted in 2 months, and the cash i got from grinding the bears was about 1500 g. that's nice =) =

anyone with the 'That bag is full' bug,
it can be corrected by moving on top on the NPC and then trying it again. Was given this advice by a GM

I got him to sell it to me after I stood right on top of him. If I was anywhere else near him, I would get the same message.

GM's admit there is a small problem with this NPC;
if you stand 'in' him, you shouldn't have the bag is full prob

Ok I am revered now and have the +15 Agility Enchant. Anyone know if there are any more Items available at exalted? The thought of killing more to get 12000 more rep for no reason is ....

After killing over ten thousand of the deadwood'sto get to Honored ( I started VERY HATED due to killing them in mass Azshara before I knew what I was doing ) I go in to get the +15 agil enchant for weapons and find that he is bugged. Every time I try to buy ANYTHING from him it says "That bag is full" and I can NOT buy it. I opened a trouble ticket to a GM and he said to try 3 things 1) sell an item to him and buy it back - did that no good 2) turn off ALL UI addons - did this try again .. still no good 3) quit to the desktop, restart WOW and try again - did this and .... you guessed it .. still no good. I have since opended another ticket to a GM and have not heard back as of yet. Will update when I get the answer.

I have had this problem with several vendors around the place. Two things have so far worked for me - 1: clearing bag space by selling something, trading to a friend or just shifting things around; and 2: try moving your char a little on the screen then chatting again... I find this usually works if I'm standing on something like a ledge or chair.

Genocide in Deadwood Village earns you 5 rep per kill, 25 for the chief up until 6k/12k on the "Revered" bar (mages help with this a lot, obviously). At this point go do the repeatable quest in Winterspring found just outside the exit from the Timbermaw cave, given by Salfa:

You get 75 rep from this per turn in. 6000/75 = 80

As of patch 1.7, he has new patterns for Revered status. Including some +21 int, 6 mana regen cloth shoulders, and some nice leather feral druid gloves. Honored - Revered is taking forever though.. I might have 50% by the time the patch is out. Not sure if his buddy next to him sells anything new however.

I have got my faction with the Timbermaw up to a sliver of green in Friendly. I have only seen three different patterns on him: the two two Warbear patterns and the Transmute after checking with him at frequent intervals over the last 48 hours. Does anyone know if a higher faction will cause the other patterns to show up in his inventory? Or is their appearance in his inventory purely random? Thanks for any helpful information.

Current faction has NOTHING to do with the reward from the quests, its only level that affects it. Faction DOES affect which of the various faction quests are available.

The first quest (the one from the Felwood end of the tunnel) gives 100 at upto level 48, dropping to 20 at 56 (and probably lower after that, but I hanv't bothered since 56).

The second quest (from the winterspring end of the tunnel) gives more at higher levels, although I believe its still capped at 100 (110 for human).

how long approx did it take you to get from unfriendly (the point where you can run through safely and their names are in orange) to friendly?

that's unfriendly > neutral > friendly... correct?

did you just grind deadwoods, or run the quest?

the quest becomes worthless at Neutral Faction, turning in the quest in Neutral is equal to killing 1 non named furbolg. Normal ones give +5 faction and Named gives +25

grinding deadwoods is better than doing the quest because of the long walk to turn it in, took me about 4 hours to go from unfriendly to friendly

What faction is required to see the limited stock transmute?

I'm currently friendly and have never seen it on her. I'm about 380 kills from honored, I'll keep checking stock once I finish that off.

Maybe I was just unlucky the 10 times I checked this vendors stock throughout friendly.

I finally was able to pick up the limited stock transmute when I was almost done with friendly (about 5% away from honored).
