My mage has spirit that gives me 200 mana per 5 sec regen at lvl 40.
So.. Freeze or sheep the enemy, and just sit and wait while the effect of that wears off, and bang, I have enough mana to finish him off..

You also need to be careful that you don't aggro stuff you don't want with it. As it's AoE, it's got a tendency to attract things you don't want. Still - It's handy in a bind :)

Also this dropped the other day pty set up was warlock, mage(me), war(darrell), PLD, hunter
I asked the warlock if I could have it he said I could and then the war loots it. He never said anything either.
I'm still pissed about it.
it's so fun on raids, most players don't see it coming! yea, it doesn't do much damage. but the attack still looks cool!
besides, I've had it since lvl 32 I'm at 37 now. I'm still loving it. I'm probobly going to find an enchanter to add some armour onto this, I don't want to get rid of it >.< it looks so cool!
