OMG!!!!

This and the Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle dropped during one Kara run. Being the only hunter in the run I GOT EM BOTH!!!!! I've ran the instance countless times in the last 3 months hoping at least one would drop, and denied until now. WOOT!!!!

Dilemma now, which to use. Being a Dorf hunter, the guns pretty sweet.

dropped last night just before reset (wednesday 14th may 2008) but other hunter won it =/ was first kara run on hunter and i got a nice chest armour anyway so not to pissed off =P

I have been running and clearing Karazhan for going on 6 months now, every damn week - and this bow STILL hasn't dropped for me - I am getting really discouraged.

I hope it drops soon.

Why does every freakin ranged weapon outa kara have a huge debate running about what class it is for. Hunter weapons pure a simple, now stfu.

I got this after my guild killed him for the first time. Easy enough fight after struggling through Curator and Shade, Prince is cake. Illhoff and the nether dragon seem to be the harder bosses on the first try, more to learn.

this thing has WAYYY too low of a drop rate. i've seen it drop once after killing him in forever. out of the 3 kara teams my guild runs, that is still the only one we've ever had drop. of course, i lost the roll. guess i'll just be waiting on the arena bow =/

No matter what ranged weapon you look at, from any boss, quest or craft you will never find one without one of these stupid arguments. A bow like this is only attainable from defeating Prince Malchezaar, the "last" boss in Karazhan. If you are sitting here debating who should "roll" on this, chances are your guild hasn't gotten very far in Karazhan (Working on Shade of Aran 3 weeks after starting Karazhan. 3 Nights a week raid) nor will it ever. More than likely your guild will be using DKP for this instance, and if not the ability to down this boss requires a group that will surely be intelligent enough to understand that a Hunter has dibs on a ranged weapon before any other class assuming he wants it. HOWEVER, hunters who come on here and spam "OMFG THIS IS FOR HUNTER WHAT R U TALKING ABOUT?" really need to shut up. It's your fault that we get bad rep and it's your fault that we have trouble finding groups and guilds. Who cares if this ended up in the hands of a warrior/rogue (to be honest I would laugh at a rogue with this seeing as though deadly throw requires a thrown weapon) In that case there was probably not a hunter in the raid, and if so, he had something that he felt was better (Not sure what exactly that would be seeing as though this is probably the best ranged weapon that I have seen the game has to offer before Gruuls Lair)

People just need to remember that simply because YOU don't have the item doesn't mean that someone else shouldn't. For example:

Dropped for us in Karazhan. There was a Paladin and I believe a Shaman in our group. The Paladin (Being a strict healadin) did not bid. The Shaman (if he was even there) decided against bidding. I bid the minimum 5 and won. Now I get whispers in Ironforge on a regular basis asking about why I "took" that from a Paladin (Ret Paladins cannot comprehend the fact that some Paladins don't enjoy crappy Dps)

Moral of the story:
Did I "Take" this from anyone?
No.
Do I deserve this over a Paladin or a Shaman
No.
Do I have it and enjoy it more than my Sonic Spear?
Yes

Dropped off Prince today for Blood Legion on Illidan Horde... The group that got this bow didn't have a hunter in their group... so it was De'ed... =(
