This item and items like it were not made for people that are presently raiding. Those items are in a whole different class all of their own. These items were made for the people that either A) don't raid at all or B) are preparing to raid. Seriously, think about it, if they made items that you can easily obtain by just buying mats off of the AH then no one would go through the instances to get the truly great items.

As for Orb of the Darkmoon being better...that's in the eye of the beholder as it were. I personally would rather have the stats on this neck and sacrific 6 spr and 7 dmg/healing.

this is a sucky neck for sure. the only reason, why someone would want it, is .. if the person has never beent to Aq20 / zg / mc. not mentioning naxx and bwl.
every single 20 / 40 men instance drops better necks then this.
u want eppix? Blizz gives u. - though they are suckier then zg blues.

Meh, I think this is better than the ZG turn in necklace by itself. But yes, if you have at least one more Zandalar item set you may as well get the 2/5 bonus by equipping the necklace :).

Is their a certin Trick to obtaining this peice. Currently i am Honorred with Argent Dawn, and It takes 70 Crusader, and 70 Other thing-a-ma-bobers. And to get Just ONE, it takes like 30 Core ele..... This has to take EVER toget, Tell me....plesae

I would atleast get to Revered before trying to grind for the tokens to turn this in. Even the cost at revered is steep.

This is a fairly mediocre neckpiece, considering there's also the Orb of the Darkmoon which can also be attained without raiding and much less grinding (No int, but more stam and dmg/healing).

Caster necks in WoW generally suck though.

2400 Rugged Leather to get the Darkmoon Orb vs 2700 items to get this @ revered. It's about the same amount of work, and for this, you don't have to wait a month.

The darkmoon orb is better, no doubt, though. Why get this if you can get Ascendence? Now, THAT is an item worth collecting tokens for.
