Got this ring on Wednesday, Best healing ring i've seen drop.. I prefer + Healing and Mana regen, awesone for a druid.. Since priests get our innervate. I'm currently Usiing this with The Signet Ring of the Bronze Dragon Flight. If this drops for you guild need it, Its too good to pass on =)
Druids and even nowp riests are looking more for mana per 5 seconds as the encounters get longer and the healing needs increase. However, the Huhuran fight is more about burst healing, yet it gives a really nice sustained healing ring, where as the Nefarian fight is sustained healing, and gives a really nice burst healing ring. Blizzard should really put loot in the right places. Although this is a minor point and this ring rules, it dropped for my guild on Wednesday, it would be nice for blizzard to get something right for once. :P
All due respect that is the most ignorant argument I have seen in a long time. You think where something drops is wrong because the item, one of the four best healing rings in the game (pre-Naxxramas), is not as wonderfully effective as it is in elsewhere? Are you really so dense and cynical that you have to find obscure things to crai about? Not that there is any reason whatsoever that bosses should specifically drop loot that is best used against them.
IMO, it's the best healing ring in the game by a big margin. There's no int on the ring, but that doesn't matter a whole lot. Every 15 seconds, you essentially gain what the benefit of a point of int would be. In the course of a long fight, you pay it off and a whole lot more.
word. wish it would drop. mana regen is the new int! the problem is im completely split .. i want this ring yet it doesn't have any yellow writing. therefore i'm afraid ill have to pot more often and stick with nefs. bleh
I would have to agree. I have a cauterizing band, and a ring of black rock, and would replace either of them with this ring. The only ring that stands close is the Pure Elementium Band off Nefarian, and I'd say this ring is better than that one for any long raid encounter (which is to say most of them).
