I finally hit revered yesterday, and had my scepter sitting in my bank for a while, finally turned it in yesterday and this ring was in it.. huzzah =D
and regarding the post below about selling it for 25g .. lol... ya there are better rings in instances, but people who don't like running instances pay for the boe's XD
*edit*
I was kind of thinking about how much this ring should be worth. Here's an example of why it's worth a hella lot more than 25g, probably upwards of 250g - 400g
Now, this Cultist ring is almost exactly the same in stats, but ONLY drops from these Chest of Spoils rewards from turning in the Scepters(unsure if it's possible to get from the Sack of Spoils(sack or bag?) from turning in 3 abyssal signets).
Ya, it has 5 less Stam than Myrm's Signet, and 3 less Str, but the added 5 Agi might pick interest in the hunters/rogues moreso than the Myrm's Signet.
also, Myrmidon's Signet is listed with a 400g median price as well, so yea, I think this ring is worth a good bit ^^

"The road to darkness is a journey, not the flip of a switch."
Got this item from the chest of spoils. I sold it to a rogue for 35g. I don't think it worth more than that cause there's many better rings from instances. That item is just a good BoE, but it don't worth 425g.
with a name like cultist, i had assumed it was silithus based. Much like the crystal slugthrower or the Elemental Attuned Blade. Basically only good to those people that do the turnins.
Just to avoid the Rogue/Warrior/Hunter debate that is almost gaurenteed to happen when any item like this comes out, I hear this ring is a quest reward. Not positive, but it would be nice. (I still can't help but adding, as a hunter this would be better than that mason's fraternity ring I've been using forever, but with 7 strength I would pass this to a rogue and even a warrior before I took it, there are better options for hunters. But if it is a quest reward I'd use it.)

Korynthe's Official Listing via Blizzard's WoW Armory - realtime info
also on Cenarion Circle:
Scout Konea - 40 Shaman

The chest of spoils is a quest reward.
The chest itself is bind-on-pickup, but its content either don't bind or are bind-on-equip.
you have to be revered to turn em in
