i would even wear these as a 2h warrior, since you have to kill fankriss to get better ones.
but they just do not drop.

As a rogue, I'd say these are a little better than NS, but not as good as BF. I still have crap Darkmantle, though, so I'd definately want these.

Feral druids...it's cool if you guys want to roll on loot like this. I don't mind. But AP/crit/stam is better for rogues than kitty druids, because stat boosts give you guys a lot more offense. As for beartanks...they aren't consistent enough on bosses with multiple stages, adds, and I've yet to see one able to hold aggro off of me (while numerous warriors can...meaning the warrior is superior). And all the armor and HP in the world < defense skill.

Don't expect priority on DPS legs, since whenever any guild I've run with is learning a new boss, all druids heal, regardless of spec. That tells me that they are more useful as healers than anything else, and any other function they want to serve is secondary to that healing role. Stop whining about no itemization. It's your secondary class function to do damage or tank, and so it's secondary priority on itemization for you. You are well aware when you spec feral what the situation is on items, and you are free to respec resto if loot is what you're after, or reroll rogue/warrior if you want to be DPS/tank.

As a feral/resto druid, I would, for the most part, agree. However, I would say that any feral druids should get priority on this item, to an extent. Not because I want to cheat rogues out of gear that they'll be using more often- I will always pass DPS gear to rogues that need it.

However, these are the 4th best DPS pants in the game for a feral druid. The only better pants are the General rank PVP pants and the Leggings of the Apocalypse from Naxx. So, these are the best pants many ferals will ever see. Rogues can get better as their T2, and nearly as good for their T1, as you said. For that reason, I'd say that ferals should get this item first.

And as for healing on new bosses, that isn't so much a matter of where the class excels. On a new boss, you're going to make more mistakes and need more healing, so every heal-capable class is going to need to be healing. Granted, druids do tend to be best at healing, but that's more an issue of itemization and our balance talents than anything else.
lol...

Best bear-tank pants in the game. Not the best
rogue pants in the game - so keep that in mind
when rolling, if you have any serious beartank in
your raid. Damn I want these =)

Im a feral druid and I want these badly. However I primarily want them for Tanking not DPS. These pants would give me 1362 armor and 24 stamina in bearform. The AP and crit bonuses are good for maintaining aggro. These also seem to be the only good beartanking pants in the whole game.

Let the druids that think they can do damage take them.

Think? Last time i checked druids had stronger combatstarters (Ravage) and more powerful finishing moves (fero. bite) then rogues do. A rogue will always do more damage, but a feral druid with the same type(MC, BWL etc. you get it) of gear is damn close :)

You need to check again, noob. Your abilites are all based off a steady number. Ours are Gear absed. Better Weapon, more damage. Period. Maybe your Ravage is getting more damage than a Rogue's Ambush if you crit, he doesn't, and he happens to be a 55 Rogue using a 65 Wep Damage Dagger. And what's more, Eviscerate does more damage than Bite, and after patch with Increased Damage to Evis with Atk Pwr, you can forget it. Yes, Bite gets it too, but Damage Multipliers on a higher base number = pwnt.

Uhm... I wish it was like this, but Rogues have more damage off their Ambush (our Ravage) and do more damage with Evicerate (our Feo Bite). Rogues also stun lock : ).

Now that still doesnt stop me from pulling 4th On the Damage meters in BWL and MC :)
