I have 3/5 of the Zandalar Demoniac's set, the shoulders, bracers, and this robe. Since I've obtained the +21spelldmg shoulders from AQ20 off of Moam (Mantle of Maz'Nadir), I wear the ZG robes with the ZG bracers, and get the 2/5 set bonus of +23 spelldmg. So I actually gain +4 spelldmg over wearing the RotV, making this the best epic robe available until T2 Nemesis(that is, when it's paired w/ the ZG bracers. Once you upgrade those bracers, then in terms of +dmg RotV is better). Although, even if I upgrade my bracers and lose my +23dmg bonus(if that happened tho, I'd put my ZG shoulders back on and keep the bonus until I got some way better shoulders, probably nemesis), the +1%hit, +27spelldmg, and very awesome +35 Stamina this robe has, makes it a robe hard to upgrade until BWL. It has high dmg, really high stamina(w/ +100hp enchant, this robe gives me +510hp), and the chance to hit is awesome. Not to mention it looks much better than the generic crapfest known as the Robe of the Void...(update epic graphics blizzard!!)
Seriously, what good is +dmg if it's being resisted or missing? ^^

Oh well I'm not arguing with 35 stam, 27 spell, and 1% hit. Most likely I'll wear these over my Robes of the Void.
46 dmg is really a lot. That 1%hit does not make up for the loss of 19 dmg. That 210 hp that you get.... well, if you need it, it's nice, but I don't. =)
What's +dmg worth when you're 'missing' or the mobs are 'resisting'? ^_^
that, and w/ the +100hp enchant to chest, this robe gives me +510 hp, which is a fackin lot for a robe. 510hp, +27dmg and +1% hit? I wear this robe over my Robe of the Void, or my Felheart robe. Seriously, what's -19 dmg when you get +1% hit and the huge boost in stamina? More hp = more hp to lifetap into mana, which = more spells cast, which = more dps, and with that extra to hit chance, probably land more damage so 19dmg loss for all that gained, is definately worth it.
Although, if/when I solo and use my pets(I'm DS/Ruin so I sac my pets for buffs), I'll probably wear my Robe of the Void for the pet heal, but since getting the Zandalar Demoniac's Robe, my RotV has been chillin in my bags, right next to my felheart robe, which I never wear unless I wanna look nice walkin around in Org or UC. Another thing, wearing the Zandalar Demoniac's Robe with the Zandalar Demoniac's Wraps(Bracers), you get a 2/5 set bonus of +23spelldmg. So hmm, RotV for +46dmg, or ZDR for +50dmg/+1% hit/+35 stam... tuff choice, eh? lol
