We ignore shamans when it comes to this staff because shamans get no use from spirit, and the spirit on this staff is the only reason druids and priests want it.
I have a 60 resto druid and 60 disc priest. Both toons main stat is spirit. I can tell you spirit works wonders for a druid..even if you think it's mostly a priest stat..nope. I don't care if shamans or druids or priests want to roll against me on this. It's good for ALL Of us. That crap about druids being secondary is a bunch of BS. Players are secondary in skill level, not classes.
I've seen every healing class outheal the other at some point as I'm sure you have..anyway...That's all. x)
If all the casters have one, why not? I have a hunter and a priest. I would expect to give it to a priest, then a druid or shaman, then a caster, and finally a hunter if he wants it. Of course, with the drop rate, don't expect to get one before something better comes along...

There are plenty of talented players who look down on the rest of us. It is a rare talent when a good player is able to teach people to be better. If you find that kind of player, join their guild!
HEALING STAFF, not only priests. I'm a priest and I have a druid friend wanting the same staff, we are both rolling on it. She's restoration, I'm holy. Yes, Priests do get Benediction, but like me, I'm very very far away from getting to MC and getting the drops I need for that staff. Will of Arlokk is for both priests and druids.
I understand that your friend wants it, hell, who doesn't? But what you need to understand is that druids are secondary healers and should be treated as such. That means they get second priority over priests for nice healing gear and weapons.
If you are really that far from MC your buddy should have it in no time.
With druids new "+to heal for group" based on druid's spirit, this is definitly better for druids than priests - for the better of the raid group. Please try not to make statmeents like druids are secondary healers, all resto druids will tell you otherwise.

Sweety, look at the dates in which posts were made before you foam at the mouth. Thanks.
By the way, druids will NEVER get a buff/core ability/talent that would allow them to heal faster or more effectively with spirit than priests (with or without Spiritual Guidance in the Holy tree).
I realize that druids would tell me otherwise if they heard me call them secondary healers. The truth hurts, after all.
Not every priest gets the drops from molten core to get benediction. It takes a lot of time and effort. Besides, how are you going to run Molten Core successfully if you don't get lower level equipment? Oh, yeah, the druid will heal for you...

Well, this is purely a healer staff, both for priests and druids.
But absolutely no mage staff, since the added spelleffect only applies to healingspells and effects.
Read before you post a remark about the item in question. Mages do not benefit from this besides the stats, and there are better staffs out there for mages that will benefit with both stats and xtra spelldmg.
I agree. Spirit is a healer's stat. If a mage runs out of mana, so what. The rogues and hunters will continue to deal damage. If a healer runs out of mana, the raid could wipe. Everyone hates that:) Healer's (no matter what class) roll/bid first, then mages, then hunters (lol).
EVOCATION!!!! This staff with +20 spirit is nice to have for a mage's evocation macro. Should a mage get this over a healer? absolutely not, but if a healer isnt going to use it or its going to get d/e'd a mage can use it ALL THE TIME when casting evocation.
note if u didnt know evocation is based a mages spirit....+55 spirit is a big deal, especially for a long boss fight where u have to use evocation. Creating a macro to switch weapons can give a mage a huge increase in mana gained back by casting evocation.
And a druid doesn't have Innovate? .... which is also based on spirit. A good druid staff as well if that is the case. Does the healing only work with the caster or does it work on someone receiving the heal to?
WAS A PRIEST STAFF BTW.
DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!

I'm rolling on the floor LOL
For a far more appropriate staff that has almost as good spirit, is about a zillion times easier to get, and won't make you look like a ninja, check:
