Been a loooong time since I've used these two, had em banked for over a year. Rogues, in all seriousness (I've played a rogue in a raiding environment, so to all you trollers, stfu), this set isn't that great for you. The main hand is too fast for effective SS and Hemo dmg, and even with the 5 crit, you wont do the same damage you'd do with the Dal'rend's set. Hunters: GTFO OFF THIS PAGE. Great story for all of you hunters who want to roll on melee sh*t: In BWL one evening, a Claw of the Black Drake dropped. I was using Vis'kag the Bloodletter/Brutality Blade (yeah, I know, typical, long since replaced), and a certain hunter was using Fang of the Faceless/Corehound Tooth. We run raids on FFA, just how we do things, and he walked up and ninja'd it. I @#%^ing SCREAMED on vent, called him all sorts of names, and got demoted. I did, however, stay in the raid. We move on past Ebonroc/Flamegor (GG rogues, DFT was mine that night), and we kill Chromagnaros. What should drop, but an Ashjre'Thul, Crossbow of Smiting. The hunters all send their tells to the raid leader, saying why it would be such a great replacement for them. I send our raid leader a tell saying "I'm sorry", and I walked up and took the crossbow. Now, the purpose of this story is not to justify ninja looting, it is to show you hunters that not every melee weapon belongs to them, especially if it is a sidegrade/minor upgrade. I walked out of there with a nice crossbow to laugh at, a Drake Fang Talisman, and a Crul'Shorukh, Edge of Chaos. The hunter walked out of there with a fist weapon he was never going to use, a broken heart, and a new respect for melee weapons, which he shared with his fellow hunters. Since then, melee classes got melee priority, and same for ranged with ranged classes. If you guys were confined to ZG at the time this dropped, and a hunter got the set, dont feel bad, hunter when a rogue takes Dwarf Destroyer. I replaced these a week later with the Warblade Set, which was a minor upgrade. I take em out in naxx every now and then, and the proc is still fun to see.
By the time you get into AQ40/Naxx, Mortal Strike is obsolete, and Fury excels at everything. I have been every concievable spec there is for a warrior, and Fury is the only way to go. Love to all the members of <Ownage Factory> who have helped me over the last two years, I love you guys!
There are much better huntard lewt out there. Huners gotta stop focusing about the color and dps and start thinking about stats. This is clearly a rogue or warrior weapon, but being that there are no class-restriciton, hunters can roll on it. Do as you want, but its @#%^ing retarded.

If you're gonna use it just for the proc, give it to a rogue. I know a rogue that has both. Seen him proc the thing 2 or 3 times against one mob. It was frickin' great. I can understand putting it on a hunter, but I'd pass to a rogue unless he had better.
I got both claws and I don't know what the guy below me is complaining about. As long as you don't rely on it proc when you want, its still pretty good. It happens seldomly for me, might be cuz I'm using a somewhat fast bow(Heartstriker). This + Quick Shot + Rapid Fire + Devilsaur Eye + 8/8 DS combo is fantastic, but it is extremely slim chance you actually get them all at once though it happens. Combined effect of +900 ranged Attack Power with incredible speed :)
Im a Hunter and I have this set and all i can say:
It looks good but it sucks!
Proccrate ist too low (<1% imo), and duration is too short - about 8 Sec.
As a (marksman) hunter you go better with any other +Crit +AP + Agi Weapon for DPS boost.
I use Fang of the faceless and brutaliy Blade - that gives 4 DPS and 1% crit more than this set while the claws give a 30 DPS Boost for about 8 seconds once in a year...
If you want high Ranged DPS Bonus weapons as a hunter go get FotF and Hakkari Mainhand, the come from Zul too and you will be fine till Naxxramas. If you prefer to have a good looking combination of weapons use the claws^^
