Compare these to, let's say Albino crocscale boots which are blue drop from sunken temple. 20 agi, 5 sta, 5 NR. You lose 3 agi and 4 sta, and save reagents worth 100-150g. And you also get 5 nifty NR ;)

Nightslayer is the rogue gear from Molten Core. Shadowcraft comes from easier dungeons, but they are still dungeons. You don't get to pick and choose what gear drops there. It could take you a long time to get them. I had better before I got a pair of boots to attempt the darkmantle upgrades, and I'm in full nightslayer now, long before I came close to finishing the upgrade quest.

Don't think Shadowcraft or Nightslayer are as easy to get as just walking in and taking it, the bosses are never happy getting punched in the face for their stuff. Mongoose boots are buyable/tradable and work for feral druids as well, since they can't use Nightslayer.

Once again, any 300 LW can make these. The pattern is BOP from the Cache, so a bit harder to get.
I can make them on Doomhammer. Shoot me a tell.

These are basically the BOE version of SC boots, or should I say the ebayer's version? C'mon Bliz make them a little more unique.

These are actually one of the best blue boots there are. Expensive though, those airs aren't cheap at all, and to get the recipe you have to kill the boss in DM, and even then it's just a chance to get the recipe. After that you still need all the components and... yikes.

Still, nice boots if you know someone who has the pattern and you have spare cash. They're actually better stat-wise than the Shadowcraft boots, though you might still wear SC boots for the set bonus. <shrug>

I'm torn between trying to get these and the Dread Pads of the wolf. 166 AC and 90 hits vs 116 and 140 hits. Also the dread pads attack power gives more of a boost to offense than the agility on these. I still think I'd go with these over the Dreadpads if it wasn't for needing all those essense of air. :(

Actually, the DW pads do not give you more "pure" damage. As approximation 1% crit is = 20 AP = 12 agi for the total damage you make with it. Meaning 23 agi equals to 43 AP.

The DW pads give you 50 more hp, while the MG boots give you +1.5% dodge.

So, all together they are pretty much equal IMO.

Not sure if anyone noticed, this is a crafting recipe which is 100% success compared to drop rate with crocscale boots.

I agree though, nothing to get to excited about. At the same time though, they arent garbage.

I know that this is a crafted recipe but if you ask me the req. lvl compared to the stats it is pretty crappy.

That and the fact that mongoose potion gives you +1% chance to crit, to make this a viable crafting it needs improvement. I think it sucks you don't ok fine, no need to tell me to stfu bastard.

Hmmm, not too good, should be atleast 1% chance to crit and hit on it to be worth anything. Crocscale boots from maraudon is better than that.
