All the warlord's command quests are doable at 55, and at the ony door it says to enter must have the ammy and lvl 55. We tried, you can get in at lvl 55.
Grigeral, whatever your smoking, its getting to you, get your facts straight...
so if you dont have ANY ninjas at all then I assume your a guild of about 10 members.
WTH are you on about??? this ring is from handing in Onyxias head quest... There fore no lvl as u must be lvl 60 to enter her lair... also, if he does it with 10 ppl in guild he has a guild worth congratulating, NOT ripping into...
Finally just to note, it is a nice ring BUT, rogues pwn.. However we dropped her again today.. The head goes for ridiculous amounts of DKP.. :(

The group was the following:
MT
MT Healer x2 (Pally/Druid)
Whelp Mages x2
Mage healers x2 (Priests - both dwarf)
Hunter x2
Lock
The MT healers changed to general healers during phase 2. The priests traded off fear wards on the MT in phase 3 and used light wells the whole time for people to come back to and heal real fast.
The Druid, Hunters, Priests and Lock kept DoT's up all through phase 2 and 3. The Mages kept the whelps in control and the priests kept them shielded and healed as much as possible. The hunters kept pets up to help with whelp aggro. The lock kept an imp phase shifted near the MT point. The Pally kept improved light judged so that it would last longer, and had fire aura up.
All in all it was cut and dry, it just took a very long time to down her. The whole battle probably last between 45 min to an hour. I wasn't playing, just watching, and my brother-in-law didn't have the ability to make video with his computer, otherwise I'd have it posted somewhere. It was a cool battle though.

BTW this is a godly ring... NO level requirement lol

Well firstly - no decent raiding guild will have people who openly ninja. There is just too much to lose even for a ninja to show his colors. If you are going to progress at endgame - you could never afford to be swapping guilds or getting a bad rep.
Secondly - a month or two months is not a long time to get to know someone.
Thirdly - the ring is *ok* - nothing more - I even looked at when u posted to make sure it wasnt like 18 months ago or something. There are alot better rings in the game than 1 crit. It's useful for when u have to wear a load of FR like at ragnaros, but as a damage ring it's not even that good.
KJ down \o/
The quest itself has tho.
And this one requres lvl 60 ofc.
(as an example ;) )

Lord kazzak drop
for fire resist you can keep this equiped, and switch out Entropy for tidal loop, http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=18398.
We have tested it out.
If you have taken the head a second time, it is useless.
the fact i saw it, leads me to believe i could do the quest again. (unique items/unique quest items dont show up in loot if you already have one)
impossible to ninja UNLESS you are on round robin - but WHO would go on round robin when you kill onyxia

For example, here's how the guild I run with made the decision... On the guild-first fight on Shazzrah in MC, we really weren't sure exactly how to handle things and the fight dragged on and on. He's not really a tough boss honestly, but it's slow because the only melee being used is typically the MT because of the massive and constant Arcane Explosion AoEs. The puller died at the beginning of the fight, and I used her as my timer for the fight, with CTRA showing me the death time. At the end of the fight, she had been dead for over 15 min and of course released due to time. Of four druids in the raid (including me), two had been dead long enough that they released. One druid never died, so he was fine. I had died, but very late in the fight, maybe 2 minutes before Shazzrah died, and I got a prompt res. We had Master Looter enabled to make sure that no one could even accidentally ninja a drop. Anyhow, the Cenarion Gloves dropped. The druid that stayed alive had already received an epic, so he was out on the roll for the gloves. Because the guild was very new (experienced players, but newly formed guild),we had no DKP system set up just yet (hense the reason for the rolls). Of three eligible druids, I rolled lowest. So the ML went ahead and tried to give the gloves to the winner, but it refused to give it to her. After 5 minutes or so of trying to give it to her, thinking it might have been insanely hideous lag, they tried the next druid in line. Notta. The only other druids left were me and the druid that didn't die at all. So just out of humor they attempted to give to me, not realizing that by way of ML bug, it would allow me to have it.
The way the ML bug goes (unless 1.7 has fixed it) is that if you die and are released at the time of the boss kill, the item is not allowed to be given to you. Effectively, you are not present for the boss's death according to the game, even if you are in the raid that kills him and your body is in the instance by the boss.
Granted, the Shazz fight should never last 15 min to an experienced guild, but it's still VERY likely it'll last longer than the 6 min release timer.
Also, even if the bug has been fixed and confirmed, now that we all trust one another and it's obvious that no one will ninja a drop, there's no reason to ever go away from FFA is there?

So, if you are not alive by the mob, or not in your dead body at time of death, you don't get nothin.

For tanks, and off-tanks there is:

The head starts an easy series of quests, where you just talk to people in Stormwind. It ends with you talking to the new Paladin NPC standing near the front gate, and he hangs up the head on the gate, gives you one of 3 items, and gives the whole town a 2 hour uber-buff (+10% crit chance on spells, +5% crit chance on attacks, and +180 attack power)
I guess since you have to do level 60 quests to get into onyxia's lair, there doesn't need to be a level for the drop, eh? =)
End of Story.
