This is a great PvP cloak for physical damage classes, huge stam pool and nice crit, but a lack of AP. Nice cloaks can be found in naxx, but kazzak was an easy encounter and this cloak is one of his nicer loot pieces.

Put that sig back again and you are banned. I already removed it once.
not even patch will save you. it still sucks even with the fixed speed. the damage of main hand claw is way too small to be of any good to a rogue. this would only work with assasination build (poison spec) which would cost you a fortune to use. i personally prefer to see poisons as a bonus, not nesseserity.
i'd like to see the stupid rogue who'd use those fist weapons seriously. crit and dual wielding does not = rogue. too fast for ss, can't use backstab or ambush. awesome!! *sarcasm*
i think a fury warrior would put this set to the best use. not saying all the pieces are sh*tty for a rogue, but the weapons are crap for us, neck and cape are nice though!
Think about it boys and girls. The claws are 1.5 speed. That is too slow for Sinister strikes. You cannot ambush/backstab with them either.
This means that if a rogue wanted to use them he/she would have to go for a poison applying build (with the relevant assasination talents) that relies on fast hits for lots of poison damamge. That build could well be awesome - it could well also suck. However for the majority of rogues, the set is weak.
However, for a DW fury warrior, the choices become more interesting. I would love to see a fully geared warrior using this set with full fury - would be interesting to see the damage output.
fist weapons... they are in general sh*tty since no one will have full use of them... rogues have no ambush and so on... and fist weapons are in general too fast as someone also sayd...
personally i would love to have the cloak (only back item with crit as far as i know) and the neck item... im a paladin and yes im retribution using crit build and it works!
atm im using the sergeants cloak but with this babe it will be historie... great sta and crit bonus!! insane!! its all a retri paladin needs...
and the neck oh babe... i know there is a few other neck items with crit but this one is the best!!
as any class that would be interested in having high crit i would toss away the crappy fist weapons and go for the cloak and neck + some other items... heartseeker for rogues barbblade for hunters and so on...
but i must say blizzard did a good job making a set that is useable with another set... i mean a rogue with the nightslayer or bloodfang set and these 2 items would rock... (sure also with other items) and its without breaking the set item bonus from the rogues sets... which in general is a problem since 1 item might just be better than the set item you wear but by replacing the set item you could loose an important bonus...
This set is a sick set for any class that can use claws. Its godlike for hunters cause the complete set has a on critical strike summon spirit of eskander and mind you that works both with melee and ranged so in other woulds multishoting and this thing will never go away unless im standing in IF i crit every multishot. Plus the pet has the skill expose weakness which for those who dont know is also on the dragonstalker complete set for those who wonder what that skill does it addes 450 damage to any ranged attack made on the target from any person.
As for rogues and warriors sh*t yes this is good for both if they are spec'd for it the set is useable with all epic and rare sets so that makes it great right there.
Personally as a hunter this is the best weapon set up i could have fast for wing clips + to crits which of course already means super ranged damage. I would pair it with Dragonstalkers set and the Epic Bow or even a Hurricane or Precisely Calibrated Boomstick for faster ranged attack.
Rogues now need a hella tight dagger set like this if they had that they would wipe thier @55 with this set.
As for fury warriors they need a beefed up Flurry axe something with sick damage and still multi hits so that the rage bar just keeps filling and filling at crazy speed double flurry axes and my fury warrior never loses rage bar its awesome but they need more damage.
Uhh... dude it procs off of melee and ranged attacks... Critical Hits are the same thing for both, so in my opinion, this is either a very nice Hunter/Fury Warrior/Retri. Paladin set or a sh*tty Rogue set... take your pick
1) Since when do Pallies use Duel Wield (clear stroke of genius, imho) 2) Fury Warrior fo sho. great Stamina, and Crits are always lovely (yay for Rage). 3) Hunters, fo sho. No one will turn down a Crit, if they are smart. ;-) 4) You must be a Dagger Rogue that tells other Rogues that using a weapon other than a Dagger is retarded, in which case, your points would have lost any validation with me in the first place...
I saw a Troll Rogue on my server take a Thunderfuried* Fury Warrior with this set... was omw to help a guildie in SM and saw em dueling. So, if you are sticking with the fact that it's a sh*tty Rogue set, then you are obviously unaware of the fact that no 2 people play exactly alike... and therefore you will get pwnt a lot in PvP.

Yeah i just got this from kazzak, I guess it comes close to Shifting Cloak in terms of good, doesnt match my rogue gear. But regardless it's an awesome cape.
Luck on a PvP server that 1 person doesn't decide to go ruin your chance at him. Most guild almost give up trying due to the PvP problems listed.
You can't counter opposing faction with more faction because more than 40 in the general area makes him instantly supreme you can't get a chance of privacy to give em 1-2 shots cause the other faction has scouts waiting and people ready to come in a ruin the whole thing with ease solo.
Blizzard needs to seriously rethink this guy on a PvP server. It may be easy on some servers or easier for one faction, but If a well organized guild with 40 people can't take em down because one opposing comes in a ruins it. it makes it seem nearly hopeless.
On a side note I am a combat spec rogue and I got the right claw off maggy today
Thats what is so great about this boss on a pvp server its fun to battle over the kill (we need some WORLD PVPING back anyway) thats the whole point!! This is an outdoor boss he would be cake if blizz did not make a 40 man cap and when he kills someone and heals himself thats just awesome be on your toes he can be as hard or harder than Nef, and maybe even impossible to kill on a pvp servers sometimes.
I could imagine this wiping a raid, like summoning a yeti. But that's a cool proc.

Anyway, its clearly a warlock cloak.

This does not proc on ranged attacks, and Dragonstalker set bonus adds 450 Attack Power, not 450 damage. The weapons are fairly weak for a hunter.
IMO this set is rouge and rouge only

This is what it looks like...
if you have zero other player competition then yes he is easy
"PVE Ruleset
When a group of players has engaged Lord Kazzak, any other players interfering in the encounter may be given a warning, regardless of faction"
So yeah, its a simple fight on PVE.
