I ran strat live a bunch of times and these boots never dropped at all, the recipe: flask of distilled wisdom has a better drop rate(3 times)

ok, this just ent funny now, i've done 25 runs without seeing them drop. the really not funny thing is, they SUCK!!!! i'll never, ever even equip them!! but i can't get my legs and shoulders until i get these. i wont even equip the soulforge boots if / when i get them as they also suck and i got Peacekeeper boots from ZG stupid strat scarlet. i think i deserve a battle mage critter pet the amount of times i've been there -.-

these finally dropped today and i would have completed my set, but the warrior in the group found that they were better than what he had (duh) and also needed them, i had them practicly in my hands and he stole them from me :'(, what the hell did i do to deserve that? :(

If you are doing the live run in Strat you could possibly get both the Lightforge Gloves (off Timmy outside the Chapel) and the Lightforge Boots (off Balnazzar). Unfortunetly I only managed to score the gloves on my last run and still need the boots. I say unfortunetly because I wanted the boots more. Really though, neither piece on their own is all that great for the level you need to be to get them. It's the set bonus and the ability to upgrade em that make em better. Oh, and I can't complain too much about Balnazzar's drops last night cause he did drop the epic pattern for our priest so that was cool.

They just dropped for me less than an hour ago. :) It's been a lucky two days - I won the breastplate last night, and these today.

When I got to the instance, I saw that the dwarf warrior was wearing them, and that they'd dropped last night as well.

i have also done a large amount of SM2 runs to get these damn boots, i really wanna lose my crappy imperial plate XD, i personally think that bliz should just make it so that bosses always drop the item set item that they have and 1 other item that they have that drops, cuz really does anyone thats goin for LF set want that crappy helm that he drops.

P.S. can i curse on these forms?

the rareness could be for the tediousness of LFGing instances and the actual effort to get to the bosses. i'm getting quite bored of WoW since i hit 60 and had to start getting my tier gear. Blizzard reli do love to make things repetitive diablo 2 was the same

I have everything but these damn boots and also the legplates!!! Omg They never drop. I guess Blizzard said it was enough when I got the Chest piece and the Shoulders in the same UBRS run since i was the only paladin xD

I was quit lucky with the boots, got them at my 1st run. I wish i could say the same for the gloves. I've done the stupid emp run around 20 times, and still no gloves...

I killed for the 30th time Balnazzar yesterday, and i still havent seen those Lightforge Boots drop from him,if someone saw it droped from him or from another boss, please post back

I believe i am in the same boat as you man. Very dissapointed after doing hours of raiding trips to Balzanaar and never seeing these boots drop for my pally. I guess were in some bad luck streak. They should fix the drop rate on these boots, seriously.
