After you get the reward (trinket/ring/amulet), the head is hung and he takes a sec to get the yellow ! over his head again. Talk to him once more to learn how to make the cloak. It doesn't cost any money to learn, just shows up in your crafting ui.

This cloak can be learned to make from the Master Leatherworking Trainer in:
Horde - Feralas: Hahrana Ironhide
Alliance - The Hinterlands: Drakk Stonehand
You are not required to train in a specific style of Leatherworking. All Leatherworkers can create this cloak.
The Scale of Onyxia can be skinned from Onyxia with 315 skinning skill. To increase your skill passed 300 you need to have Finkle's Skinner equiped and a +5 Skinning Enchant to your gloves.
The Cindercloth Cloak can be made by 275 Tailoring, however it is a rather rare drop found on Thaurissan Firewalker's
Gromosław Armory - priest
Onyxia = Onyxia oO
schuppen = scale
umhang = cloak
If you would write it like "Onyxia Schuppen Umhang" it would not be grammatically correct. The spaces are referred to as "Deppenleerzeichen" in german. That would translate to something like "idiots spaces".
Just FYI. :)
10k damage.

Basically you need to be a leatherworker with 300 skill.
You do NOT have to be a dragonscale leatherworker. You can be a leatherworker from any of the three disciplines, all it depends on is your skill in leatherworking.
The ingredients themselves aren't that bad;
1x scale of onyxia
1x cindercloth cloak
1x rune thread
im led to believe that the cindercloth cloak is a rare tailoring recipe.

It is - it only drops from one type of mob, of which only 3 or 4 are active at the same time. Got lucky though & got it off my 20th kill.
I assume a Dragonscale leatherworker has to turn in the head, guess we'll find out heh.

Makes much more sense than it being an AOE that would whip your raid if everyone doesnt have the cloak...

dun tell me u need 40 of these for lord nef T-T
40 weeks of onyxia T-T
You get the pattern from turning in the Onyxia Head quest in Stormwind if you are a high level leatherworker.
Thanx to the recent Dark Iron faction reward nerf from the turn-in of Dark Iron, it's much harder to get to revered.
As if it wasn't hard enough already :/
MT should be getting this.
What is required is very high fire resist for the whole party (300+ and tanks / melee) (100+ for casters and ranged)
I have heard that the Nefarian "enchant" is for later on in BWL... not Onyxia. Two different instances.
Hope this helps.
cool looking cape BTW
