I usually put it on a Chain, you dont really rely much on enchants in PvP as a warrior, the chain is the best cost effective enchant. Now if your a Rogue with 2x Crusader, thats the way to go.

I completely disagree. Crusader on my Zin'Rokh has saved me so many times its rediculous. +100 Str and heal for ~120 and it procs like 3-4 times a minute, so in essence, you get an additional 500-1000HP and more damage output instead of immune to disarm.

These gloves also give more crit and parry, so theres not really any other good PvP item out there for warriors.

Weapon chain = for level 10-59, 60 is pointless.

I admit, it is a better sword for warriors than pallys. There are other weapons out there that better enhance our survival abilities. For instance, anything that increases our intel or the amount we heal. And like it or not, 90% of the time our function in a group is to heal. They need it. We just want it. If you take this out of a warrior's hands because you are greedy and not thinking of long term strategems, I can do nothing but shake my head at you. (Edited, thanks DraknReznall)

I actually agree, coming from a fury warrior stance. the Crit, +54 ap, and stam on the Flameguard Gauntlets beat out the Stronghold Gauntlets fer sure. From a PvE standpoint, the parry is nice, but u really dont need to be immune to disarm, side from a few instances like Live Strat and BRD, and for PvP, 1% parry isnt going to give you much. Sure these have more stam than the Flameguard Gauntlets, but the Flameguard Gauntlets are a drop from Baron Geddon, Magmadar, and Shazzrah to name a few, and asside from DKP, drops are free. However, for those who dont have access to raiding, there's always the Death Grips. Stick a +Agi on em for crit or a +str for more AP, and ur golden. Lastly, there is a trick if you dont want gloves with a passive like this, or have gloves with better effects, w/e... if you duel-wield, simply put a Steel Weapon Chain on your offhand weapon, and it will make you immune to disarm with both weapons. Happy hunting,

FOR THE HORDE!

A little correction to the 1% avoidance though - 1% parry.

To be honest, the 1% crit is damn sweet for wars, especially crit build ones. The 1% crit is probably the best thing on those gaunts besides the disarm immunity.

And check the AC out, 441 AC, doesnt get much better than that.

So kermitballs, i only have one thing to say.

the phrase GG is Good Game, and its comes from the end of quake matches or other such multiplayer games, and its not some smart ass comment, but you idiots use it as such.

whatever.
-------------
as for your actual comments, these gloves are among THE BEST a warrior (and paladin....these being PLATE) can use. See where it says "Immune to Disarm"? That's huge. Everyone else has to use a weapon chain, and that means no enchantment, such as Crusader, on that weapon, to get immunity to disarm.

For a tank, thats huge because so many of your agro holding abilities "Require Melee Weapon". Its also important in PVP.

Even without the disarm immunity, the other stats are great too: an additional 1% avoidance (very good), 120hp, and more crit%.

in short: "gg & stfu u gd ebay n00b"

i really hate it when ppl charge stupid prices just coz they can... being a bit more reasonable, helps bring in customers...

the gauntlets on shadow moon cost 200g - to craft

15x30 Arcanite = 450g
10X5 Essence = 50g
6x4 Ench thorium = 24g (got the rest)
6x4 Sapphire = 24g
4x2 Opal = 8g

450+50+24+24+8 = 556g
+200g for craft = 756g

They r not worth that much... period

Ok here's why you pay for these to be made on top of mats.

1. Not many ppl can make them
2. To get the required skills to make them you have to have a lot of patience/time and put in a lot of effort (especially so with armoursmithing)
3. The plans for these are extremely rare and can only be found from a drop in a high lvl dungeon. Imagine then rolling for them in a 15 person raid group
4. You are stupid; until you learn to make them yourself cough up the gold and stop being a stinge.
