I have four I won on the auction house on Sentinels US for only five silver. They won't even sell for 1s each on the AH here. Completely useless, I just ended up giving them away.

The drop rate on these seems to have gone up considerably as of patch 1.11.

Expect to get 1-3 per hour in Blackrock Depths, if you stay busy killing things.

Expect the price in the auction house to drop precipitously as a result.

What Zg enchant had to do with black diamonds?
For ZG enchant you "needed" DM libram, and for DM librams you needed "Pristine Black Diamond", not black diamond :P

These diamonds are used for BS not DM librams...
They are worthless, cuz there is 20 of them in AH all the time, and cuz they drop alot...
Good for us, you can almost change enchant as you wish cuz they are very cheap now...

Yeah went to farm some BRD solo for a bit, as a protection specced warrior this takes frikkin ages and in the time it took me to get about 8 Dark Iron Scraps I got 4 Black Diamonds, that was just clearing the middle of the detention block (just the area with the 6 tunnels and one corridor leading off it) and a few fire elementals, to think i regularly spent 20g to get these for my arcanums :P

they are still worth only 6g each

I bought 10 of them thinking I made the best deal ever! (as they go for 30g each on my other server)


however I can't sell them at all. nobosy wants them and the market is flooded with people selling them <8g

maybe wait a month or 2 for more lvl 60 to lvl up and wanting them....

Why this is an Uncommon and 800% More expensive than the Pristine which is a rare I can't stomach. It just shows the inconsistancy, and greed in the WoW Economy. What's with the inflation? At this rate of increase on items soon things will take years to farm for. Blizzard would love that.(monthly charges)(cha-ching) The fact that people are paying 200+g total for Libram buffs shows evidence of Gold Farming, and Buying. No one else who grinded for their G would pay that much for +8 anything, It's ghey.

Cost is what the market dictates - whoever is complaining about "unrealistic" prices should stop and think for a moment about the difference between free market and central streering aka communism.

If you think the price is too high, just go and farm the item yourself. If you think it is too boring or too hard, then you can see why it costs so much.

By the way, there was a time when the pristine diamond sold for 400g. Blizz "fixed" the drop rate, and now we have a situation when they sell for 1s.

sold 2 in AH for 85s instead of 85g (the only other up for sale was asking for 50g)

didnt realise my mistake until they were sold.

word of warning: always check what you sell in AH, especially the morning after a night out!

Also don't sell portals deck without checking that the buyer is giving you the right amount of money.

40 g is not 400 g and he won't give you the last 360 g if he doesn't feel the need to

I remember this used to drop like candy in BRD...

Now that I've burned through my stack doing librams for me and others, I went back to BRD and after a good 6 hours of doing several runs we didn't get any. Anyone else had issues?
