I cannot stress enough the value of doing the daily quests. The amount of money and reputation that can be gained is amazing.

There are four factions that have daily quests that can be done - but most of them have pre-requisite quests in order to do them. I am gonna try to outline them here so that you can get a heads up on them and maybe we can start working together a bit more so we can get them done as a team. I have marked the Daily Quests with "Daily:" to separate them from the pre-requisite quests.

They are also quite a few daily quests that do not requires any legwork to access, those are also included here.

As of patch 2.4, the daily quest limit has been increased from 15 to 25, making the daily quests an even better source of gold then before.

Netherwing:

The quest chain begins by speaking with Mordenai, an NPC that wanders around 60, 58 in Shadowmoon Valley. Here is the Allakhazam list of quests:

1. Kindness.

2. Seek Out Neltharaku.

3. Neltharaku's Tale.

4. Infiltrating Dragonmaw Fortress.

5. To Netherwing Ledge!!!. Tip: If you are a miner, turning on mineral tracking will also show you the locations of the collected item required to complete this quest. Despite the fact that it is a mineral - it resembles a plant with a red crystal hanging from it.

6. The Force Of Neltharaku.

7. Karynaku.

8. Zuluhed The Whacked. This quest is the only real hurdle in the questline in that you really need a balanced party to defeat the mob.

9. Ally Of The Netherwing.

Once you are done to here the following quests are available at Netherwing Fields, but you must have the epic flying mount skill to progress beyond this point. I know this first hand as Issys could not go further but Arclight could - the NPC said that Issys flying skill was not high enough. Here are the last few pre-requisites:

1. Blood Oath To The Netherwing.

2. In Service Of The Illidari.

3. Enter the Taskmaster. This immediately opens the daily quest:

1. Daily: Netherwing Crystals. Worth 250 Netherwing rep and 12g. The best place to farm the crystals are in the mine under the Dragonmaw Camp. I went down there looking for eggs, and in the process of killing the flayers down there gathered upwards of 150 crystals, enough for a few days - and found about 8 Netherwing Eggs.

You then need to complete the quest Your Friend On The Inside which opens up:

1. Daily: A Slow Death. Worth 250 Netherwing rep and 12g. This quest requires you to collect 12 Fel Glands to use to poison the Peons around Netherwing Fields. The best drop rate I have found was off Greater Felfire Diemetradons. Also, it is a good idea to grab 13 or 14 Glands instead of 12 because occasionally the Peons bug and you lose the collected Fel Gland without getting credit.

2. Daily: The Not-So-Friendly Skies. Worth 250 Netherwing rep and 12g. On the north side of the floating Island that is Netherwing Fields, there is what looks like a dock that sticks out a short way, and it is guarded by two of the walking Dragonmaw Ascendants that prowl the Fields. North and above this dock is a large floating stationary rock that you can land on and see the dock across the way. If you land on here you can shoot at the Dragonmaw Transporters as they fly by - causing them to land and fight - they are quite easy to dispatch.

3. The Great Netherwing Egg Hunt. This is not a daily quest, but can be repeated as many times as you like without interfering with the 10 quest limit on daily quests. Keep your eyes peeled for the eggs, they are around, and the mobs you kill for the various quests sometimes drop them. Each egg is worth 250 Netherwing rep (but no cash). Best place to find these is in the mine below - both as a drop from the Flayers and also as a found item on the ground.

Once you hit Friendly, you can add these to above list:

1. Daily: Picking Up The Pieces. Worth 350 Netherwing rep and 18g. Another mine quest.

2. Daily: Dragons Are The Least Of Our Problems. Worth 350 Netherwing rep and 12g. Another mine quest.

3. Daily: Booterang: Cure For The Common Worthless Peon. Worth 350 Netherwing rep and 12g.

Then at Honored, add:

1. Daily: Disrupting The Twilight Portal. Worth 500 Netherwing rep and 12g. Just stand right in the archway of the portal and shoot the non-elites around it - piece of cake.

Then at Revered you can add:

1. Daily: For Scryers: The Deadliest Trap Ever Laid. Worth 500 Netherwing rep and 12g.

2. Daily: For Aldor: The Deadliest Trap Ever Laid. Worth 500 Netherwing rep and 12g.

These are the currently available daily quests for the Netherwing. There are many other Netherwing quests that are not daily quests, and a good list of them can be found here.

Sha'tari Skyguard and Ogri'la:

Once you finalize your position with the Skyguard and Ogri'la daily quests, you will find that a few of them offer Reputation gains in both factions for completing one quest. The Skettis Daily quest chain begins by speaking with Yuula, the NPC with the Netheray next to the Flight Master in Shattrath City at 64, 42. Here are the Pre-requisites to the daily quests:

1. Threat From Above.

2. To Skettis!.

This opens up the daily quest

1. Daily: Fires Over Skettis. This quest gives 350 Skyguard rep and 12g.

2. Be on the lookout for a captured Skyguard Prisoner in the Skettis trees who gives Daily: Escape From Skettis. This gives 350 Skyguard rep and 12g.

These are all the daily quests available in the Skettis region.

To unlock the Blades Edge Mountain Skyguard quests, you have to unlock the Ogri'la quests, and to do this you head to Lower City in Shattarath, and speak to Grok the Ogre near the crafters terrace at 65, 68. He starts the Ogri'la quest chain.

1. Mog'dorg The Wizened.

2. Even Gronn Have Standards.

3. Grulloc Have Two Skulls.

4. Maggoc's Treasure Chest.

5. Grim(oir) Business.

6. Into The Soulgrinder.

7. Speak With Mog'dorg. There is a bit of confusion here in that I am not sure where exactly this falls. I believe after you complete the Soulgrinder quest, you are named King/Queen of the Ogres and one of the ghost ogres that appears upon completion tells you to speak to Mog'dorg again, and he gives you Ogre Heaven. This puts you at Neutral with Ogri'la so you can start the quests chains at Ogri'la itself at 28, 56 in Blades Edge Mountains. The closest flight point is Sylvanaar - just fly due west from there over the spiney ridge. A couple of flying pointers: Don't fly over Forge Camp:Wrath or Forge Camp: Terror unless you have an epic mount or are very high. The Forge cannons actually will shoot you down out of the sky as they are part of the "Bomb them again" daily quest. Also, there is a flight point that links directly between the Skyguard camp in Skettis and the Skyguard camp in Blade's Edge, though you have to be honored with Skyguard to be able to use it.

Once in Ogri'la, you get these pre-req quests:

1. The Crystals.

2. An Apexis Relic

These open up:

1. Daily: Apexis Emanations. This is a memory game not unlike Simon where you have to repeat back the sequence the crystals show. I highly encourage you to write down the sequence and then repeat it back - the sequences can get long, and I know that I could never do it without writing it down. You get 250 Ogri'la rep, 12g and 15 Apexis Shards.

Once you reach Friendly status with Ogri'la you are offered the quest The Skyguard Outpost which opens the way to two more lucrative daily quests:

1. Bombing Run which then opens Daily: Bomb Them Again. This gives 500 rep for both Ogri'la and Skyguard, 12g and 15 Apexis Shards.

2. Wrangle Dome Aether Rays which then opens Daily: Wrangle More Aether Rays. This gives 350 rep for both Ogri'la and Skyguard, 12g and 15 Apexis Shards.

Once you reach Honored with Ogri'la, you get the quest Banish The Demons which then opens Daily: Banish More Demons. This gives 350 Ogri'la rep and 12g.

There are many other Ogri'la/Skyguard quests that are not repeatable, and an extensive list can be found here.

Grella is the Skyguard Quartermaster, she will sell items that require a certain level of Skyguard rep to be purchasable.

Jho'nass is the Ogri'la Quarermaster, he will sell items that require a certain level of Ogri'la rep to be purchasable. The item also requires Apexis Crystal and Shard, which you can receive by questing and slaying Elite monsters in Ogri'la.

Battleground Dailies:

Those quest do not requires any unlocking, you simply need to speak to the NPC for your faction, the Horde Warbringer or the Alliance Brigadier General who can both be found near the Battleground npc in any major city. Everyday, they will randomly gives you a 'Call to Arms' quest which target a specific Battleground. The objective of the quest is rather simple, win the chosen battleground to earn up to 419 Honor and 11gold and 99silver at level 70.

World PVP Dailies - Halaa & The Bone Waste:

Added in 2.4, those two daily quest require you to particpate in the open world pvp objective in Terokkar Forest and Nagrand.

The Nagrand quest requires you to kill 10 enemy players at the Halaa open world pvp objective. The quests are called In Defense of Halaa and given by Lakoor
and Enemies, Old and New given by Karrtog for the Alliance and the Horde respectively. Completing the quest earns you 11g and 90s.

The Terokkar Forest quest requires you to capture one Spirit Tower in the Bone Waste. Remember that this event is timed, so you can only attempt to complete it every 6 hours. Both quest are called Spirits of Auchindouin, the Alliance version is given by Exorcist Sullivan, while the Horde version is given by Exorcist Vaisha.

Cooking Dailies - Do you smell what the Rokk is cooking?:

The Rokk is a goblin chef in Shattrath. While you do not need to do any quest to unlock his dailies, you do need to have at least cooking 275 in order for you to be eligible for his quests. He will randomly gives you one of the following quest:

Manalicious
Revenge is Tasty
Soup for the Soul
Super Hot Stew

Which earns 7g 59s as well as a crate of meat or fish (your choice). While the quest itself doesn't give as much gold as other dailies, the main reason for doing them is the random chance to get one of 4 'unique' cooking recipees from the box, some of which are highly sought after.

Fishing Dailies:

The fishing dailies are given out by Old Man Barlo, a npc fisherman in Terokkar Forest. The quest are handed out randomly and include:
Bait Bandits
Crocolisks in the City
Felblood Fillet
Shrimpin' Ain't Easy
The One That Got Away

The quest always reward you with a Bag of Fishing Treasure which contain some gold and gray items (can be vendored for more gold), however there's also a chance for a blue fishing hat and a cooking recipee.

Instance Dailies - Normal and Heroic:

The instances dailies are given out by two etherael in Shattrath.

Nether-Stalker Mah'duun gives out the non-heroic version once per day. They ask you to kill a certain number of mob within the instances and reward you with 16g and 39s as well as a Ethereum Prison Key and 250 rep with both the faction associated with the Instance and the Consortium. The quests are given out randomly and include:
Wanted: Arcatraz Sentinels
Wanted: Coilfang Myrmidons
Wanted: Malicious Instructors
Wanted: Rift Lords
Wanted: Shattered Hand Centurions
Wanted: Sisters of Torment
Wanted: Sunseeker Channelers

As a general rule, those quests are not good money maker (since you can do many dailies in the time it take to finish 1 instances), but they're a nice little 'bonus' if you were planning to the run the instance anyway as well as source of Consortium rep.

Wind Trader Zhareem gives out the Heroic version once per day. Those always involve killing the last boss of an instance set on the Heroic setting and bringing back an item to him. Those quests reward you with 24g 60s and 2 badges of Justice (and top of those earned in the Heroic) as well as 350 rep with both the faction associated with the Instance and the Consortium. The quests are given out randomly and include:
Wanted: A Black Stalker Egg
Wanted: A Warp Splinter Clipping
Wanted: Aeonus's Hourglass
Wanted: Bladefist's Seal
Wanted: Keli'dan's Feathered Stave
Wanted: Murmur's Whisper
Wanted: Nazan's Riding Crop
Wanted: Pathaleon's Projector
Wanted: Shaffar's Wondrous Pendant
Wanted: The Epoch Hunter's Head
Wanted: The Exarch's Soul Gem
Wanted: The Headfeathers of Ikiss
Wanted: The Heart of Quagmirran
Wanted: The Scroll of Skyriss
Wanted: The Signet Ring of Prince Kael'thas
Wanted: The Warlord's Treatise

While still not the best way to make money (see above), the Heroic dailies can help bolster your badge of justice acquisition rate significantly. Once you reach a certain point at level 70, you will want to be running a lot of Heroics for rep and badges - those quests help a lot in those endeavors.

The Shattered Sun Offensive - Sunwell Dailies:

The massive 2.4 content patch added an entire new zone to Azeroth, which include a new instance, a new raid... and a lot of daily quests!

Unlike the Netherwing quests discussed above, the Sunwell dailies aren't unlocked by your reputation, but by how far along your server is toward completing the Sunwell objectives. Everytime a daily quest is done, this objective gets closer to being finished. Along the way, new buildings and npc appear on the island and those npcs introduce new daily quests for you to complete.

The following quests take place in Outland, and are available right away:

Blast the Gateway ask you to collected energy from the fel spark in Hellfire Peninsula around the Throne of KilJaeden and then use this energy to blow up the gateway. The quest is handed out by Magistrix Seyla who rewards you with 10g 10s a bag of Shattered Sun Supplies and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

Blood for Blood needs you to kill 4 Emaciated Felbloods in Hellfire Peninsula around the Throne of KilJaeden by using the Fel Siphon that Magistrix Seyla gave you on them. You will need Demonic Blood from nearby Wrath Heralds to power the Fel Siphon. The reward is 11g 99s, 5 Marks of Kil'jaeden or 5 Sunfury Signets and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

Gaining the Advantage can be done anywhere in outland and simply requires you to gather 8 Nether Residue. Those can be obtained by using Mining, Herbalism or Skinning in outland. The quest giver is Emissary Mordin. The reward for this one is pretty good, 16g 39s, 2 Major Rejuvenation Potion and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

The Multiphase Survey is given to you by Harbinger Haronem in Shattrath City and takes you to Nagrand where you must equip the Multiphase Spectrographic Goggles (provided by the quest) and extract 6 'reading' from red particule clouds floating around Oshu'gun. The reward is 10g 10s and some Shattered Sun Supplies and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

Sunfury Attack Plans in Netherstorm, where you must fight the Sunfury Blood elves and find the one that carries the attack plan. The plan is a random drop from any blood elf that wanders about. This is a great quest to do while you're farming for Sunfury Signets. The quest is given by Lord Torvos in Shattrath City. The reward is 10g 10s and some Shattered Sun Supplies and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

The following quests take place on the Isle of Quel'Danas and can be done as soon as Phase 1 starts:

Erratic Behavior is given out by Vindicator Xayann and requires you to kill 5 Erratic Sentry and use the Attuned Crystal Cores to reprogram them so they'll help the Shattered Sun Offense. The quest reward is 9g 10s and +150 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive. When phase 2 begins, the quest changes name to Further Conversions.

The Sanctum Wards is given out by Captain Theris Dawnhearth. You need to kill Wretched until you gather 4 Arcane Remains, you then complete the quest by using the remains on one of the red crystal floating outside the sanctum. The quest rewards you with 5g 70s and +150 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive. When phase 2 beings, the quest changes name to Arm the Wards!.

The following quests
can only be done once phase 2 and the sun reach sanctum have been recovered:

The Battle for the Sun's Reach Armory takes the battle to the legion, as Harbinger Inuuro ask you to kill 6 demon and impale one of their leader. The quest rewards you 10g 10s and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

Distraction at the Dead Scar is handed out by Battlemage Arynna who demands that you fly over the dead scar and bomb a number of demons. Yup, everybody's favorite, a bombing run! The quest rewards you with 9g 10s and +150 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

Intercepting the Mana Cells is offered in Shattrath City by Exarch Nasuun, you need to go to Blade's Edge Mountain and regain 10 Smuggled Mana Cell from the Bash'ir Landing and return them to Shattrath. The quest rewards you with 10g 10s a bag of Shattered Sun Supplies and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

Know Your Ley Lines (Daily) is given by Astromancer Darnarian, he wants you to use the Astromancer's Crystal at the Bloodcrystal, the Dawning Square portal, and the naga shrine at Greengill Coast. The quest rewards you with 11g 99s a scroll of teleportation and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

The following quests can only be done once phase 3 and the sun reach armory have been recovered:

Intercept the Reinforcements (Daily) is given by Vindicator Kaalan. You must fly over the dawnblade reinforcement fleet and use the flaming oil to set the ships' sails on fire as you fly and once you land, slay 6 dawnblade reservists. It rewards you with 11g 99s and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

Taking the Harbor (Daily) is given by Magister Ilastar. The quest requires you to kill a number of Dawnblade Blood Elves, the elite forces of Kael. It rewards you with 11g 99s and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

Making Ready (Daily) is given by Smith Hauthaa. You must slay the naga on the coast to the east and gather the ore they have been harvesting, striking a blow against the legion while gathering materials for your offense. It rewards you with 11g 99s and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

Ata'mal Armaments is given out by Smith Hauthaa, he wants you to produce 5 cleansed ata'mal metal. You do you by breaking down ata'mal armements on her anvil. It rewards you with 18g 28s, Blessed Weapon Coating or Righteous Coating and +350 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive!

The following quests
can only be done once phase 4 and the sun reach harbor have been recovered:

A Charitabl Donation is given out by Anchorite Ayuri... 'given' is an odd word for this quest. She requires a 10g donation in order to build a monument for those who have fallen against the force of Kael and the Legion. The quest rewards you +150 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive and is only really useful if you wish to get to Exalted as fast as possible.

Disrupt the Greengill Coast is given out by Captain Valindria. She wishes for you to slay the Darkspine Sirens, obtain their magic orb that are used to enslave murloc, and free the murloc. The enraged Murloc should turn on its oppressors. The quests rewards you with 11g 99s and +250 reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive.

Not sure if any of you know if there is any truth in this, but I have heard rumors that at a certain stage you could buy the title 'of the Shattered Sun'. Whilst not really a daily quest, I thought I should mention it as this may be part of the Shattered Sun Offensive.

Some people claimed that during the 'Monument' phase, one would need to donate 1000g and be Exalted in order to obtain the title; but that this could only be granted as long as the monument was being built.

Can anyone verify these rumors?

yes it is true u can get the title "of the shattered sun" but you get this by being exalted then talking to an NPC by the harbor and donating 1000g not to the lady next to the monument.

Great guide to the quests but there is still another! There is also a daily PVP quest that you get from a NPC in Lower Shatt where you have to win one of the BGs. I have done a daily for Warsong Gulch, Alterac Valley and Arathi Bsain. Eye of the Storm is probably in there too but I don't do this one too often. The NPC can be found standing near the battlemasters, off to the right. I am not sure of which set so if he isn't there you are in the wrong spot.

There's a cooking quest daily now also, lower reward 7g and some change, not sure of req. specifics, i'm guessing 350 cooking, not sure if that's fact but my cooking is 350. It's a goblin in lower city NE area next to a tent. Item reward also, barrel of fish, or box of meat, either seem to frequently be an item needed for a daily quest. Not sure how many different quests there are. It's a different quest everyday, i think i've seen 4 different ones. One of the fish bucket items is furious crawdad, craftable to spicy crawdad a +30 stam buff item great for tanks.

Yes, the requirement is 350 Cooking. There are a couple of recipes that are ONLY acquirable by doing the cooking quest (Skullfish Soup, for example). I also received the (blue) "Stormchops" recipe in my meat crate one day. Can't sell it (BoP) but the Stormchops seem pretty popular in AH....

Mordenai, the one that starts kindness is the same that starts the other quests. You need 300 riding skill and neutral rep with Netherwing in order for him to talk to you.

They must have changed this....

I'm up to (and stuck on) Seek Out Neltharaku. I don't even have my epic mount yet. Warlock with 75 riding skill.

So he will give you the missions WITHOUT 300 riding skill or any rep with Netherwing.

The lady with the nether ray, next to the wind rider in Shattrath however, will NOT talk to me.

The 300 riding skill "IS" required to get the next set of quests Mordeni has to offer not the 1st ones that get you to nuetral with the netherwing.

A tip for the apexis emanations quest might be to listen to the tunes, sometimes it's easier to memorize a "melody". The last sequence you have to repeat before you get the emanation is eight parts. Starts with one, and then 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and you're done. At least for the quest.

I'm even worse at typing so I downloaded an addon called Ogri'lazy (http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/7774/) that gives you a GUI you can click on to track the order.

I had the hardest time with the emanations until my GF figured out a neat trick... The easiest way I've found to do the "Simon" quest is to position your camera to look at the node like it was a +. Set your chat to /say and as the lights blink off, use your wasd movement keys to 'say' the order... then click as needed. I usually have to start it with the 5 blink since I sucked at Simon as a kid ;)

I'm sure it must be quite confusing for Alliance (or hell, even other Horde) players nearby as I say "wassdw" "ddswasd" and other such variants.

There are also 3 other daily quests that are available on the Netherwing Ledge from the same questgiver that hand out "Netherwing Crystals". Those quests are given out to those of you with "gathering" skills.

For the miners "Nethercite Ore"

For the herbalists "Netherdust Pollen"

For the skinners "Nethermine Flayer Hide"

All 3 quests are good for 250 pts of reputation each...

Your absolutely right, I forgot about those. Apparently there is also the Honor Hold Daily quest that is a PvP one:

Hellfire Fortifications. Gives 3 Marks of Honor and 150 Honor Hold Rep. It also is supposed to give 70 silver - can someone confirm that it is this amount?

Thanks!!!

It used to be 70s I think when it wasn't a daily quest. I now gives 1 gold, the 150 rep and 3 Marks.
